Ah now it makes sense! Sorry if I was being a bit dense.

My account seems to have stopped scrobbling from my ipod so it hardly reflects anything I listen to these days. Boo hiss etc.

Do you sync your iPod? Mine scrobbles if it syncs properly, and when I open iTunes and last.fm application automatically opens, it says iPod is getting ready for scrobbling.

I may come across as a but dim here but do you mean sync my ipod to itunes or sync it to LastFM?

 

I don't sync it to itunes as I don't want all the crap on it that I have clogging up my itunes, I also don't really want any tracks without artwork as it will spoil it. :blush:

Mine only scrobbles if it registers the iTunes play count has increased and it won't do that unless it syncs. As I have too much music to fit onto my iPod and like you, I only want the best stuff on there, you have to make playlists with everything I want on my iPod, and then when it's docked, you tick which playlists to sync to in the options.

Ah... that's FAR too much hassle for now. I've got precisely 13,597 tracks on it at the moment as I've transfered a lot of full albums on too and I can't face beginning all that again!
