April 13, 201015 yr Could somebody kindly send me a link to this please? 'Drunk Girls' has FINALLY clicked with me after my initial disappointment and I have had Sound of Silver on a lot recently in anticipation of this :D
April 13, 201015 yr Author dance yrself clean is literally one of the most amazing things i've heard this year OMG
May 26, 201015 yr This album is unbelievably good. I may even end up liking this more than Sound of Silver...
July 31, 201014 yr This album is majorly improved if you substitute the Holy Ghost remix of Drunk Girls for the original version.
July 31, 201014 yr The video for Drunk Girls is fantastic, both fun and ridiculously creepy at the same time: qdRaf3-OEh4
April 2, 201114 yr END OF AN ERA. Anyone watching the final show on Pitchfork tonight? I'm sure there won't be a drunken dry eye in MSG! I'm going to add this to my longlist of reasons why I hate myself for not living in New York. Gah! I think Dance Yrself Clean could be my favourite LCD song ever (although it's a hard decision). I worried initially after Drunk Girls underwhelmed and then on my first listen it wasn't doing much for me (I'm sure I wasn't the only one who put the volume up to ridiculous levels, wondering when the song would start) but BOOM. I almost had a heart-attack and threw myself out of bed in excitement. DON'T YOU WANT ME TO WAKE UP? THEN GIVE ME JUST A BIT OF YOUR TIME.
April 2, 201114 yr Heh...great post there. Yes, I'm a little sorry to see James et al go. I saw them three times live - pretty much all from the second album era - but they put on such a great show. I think 'Losing My Edge' might still be my favourite as it was such a slap in the face for music at the time, but there's no doubt this was a pretty special act in its time. April 2, 201114 yr YES YES YES. I've stayed in tonight just to watch it. I've bought rum to accompany me watching it. I'm gonna stay up til 2am just to watch it. I didn't realise how much I liked LCD Soundsystem until tonight.
September 9, 201113 yr Lick Yrself Clean. http://f.bandcamp.com/z/99/33/993336185-1.jpg Still my favourite album from last year probably. Edited September 9, 201113 yr by ▲▲▲
