Chipmunk is the most annoying thing in music right now. I wouldn't say he didn't deserve number one because anyone who sells the most singles in a week deserves to be number one but seriously, how people can like him, i just don't know.

I'm doubtful that chipmee will overtake diana. at least not this week anyway, diana's got the number 1 in her pocket although it will be close.

Chipmunk & Esmee is starting to break away and form a clear top 2 now.

How do you define "close". If you mean Diana will be no. 1 and Chipmunk will be no. 2 then that's as close as you can get.

 

If you're talking sales, forget it. Diana has a decent lead on iTunes (or at least did the time I saw the pop bars picture) and will no doubt benefit from having a cd single available...and the better song. I reckon when Chipmunk leaves the top 40, Diana will still be comfortably inside the top 40.

Some of his songs are a bit boring, but I think Oopsy Daisy, Number One Enemy and Until You Were Gone are fantastic! I didn't really get Diamond Rings though before it stopped getting airplay.

 

Talking about airplay, some of this may be old news, but Alica's new song (Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart) is getting airplay now, as is Justin Bieber's new song, although I can't remember what it was called.

 

I also, oddly enough, heard Best Girl on the radio. Could this be Taio Cruz's next single after Dirty Picture? It was funny, because they interviewed him after playing the song, and he didn't know the release date for Dirty Picture. :D

Still looking good for Diana. I hope a BEP/Leona style thing doesn't happen this week. :cry:

I'll be very surprised. Diana has a decenet lead over Chipmunk plus there's a remix of 'Once' that's starting to climb up iTunes so with the sales combined that gives Diana an bigger advantage.

Most of Diana's big fanbase will be buying the single as well as downloading it plus the cd single has tracks on it which aren't on the download version
