Glee is a phenomenon, something Heroes never achieved, and to try and demerit it's undeniable success is just silly. The albums have sold very well, the ratings are doing fantastically in both America and the UK, and all the songs released do very well in the charts too. So don't be silly ;)

i agree - its quite commercial sounding too (in a good way)!! lies is another good song by them, dont know why radio 1 kept in dlisted - should have moved it at least to the clist.it wasn't available until monday there so i will have to wait until i get home from uni again to buy it for my ipod!! :(

how is it 'silly' to compare them both they are both american tv shows that were hyped to the hilt over here so that everyone watched them - heroes had similar hype and it eventually faded - lets hope the same happens to glee!!

Erm, Heroes in its first season was much bigger than Glee worldwide.

I wouldn't say Glee is a phenomenom, although I can see it being so in the future, if it's fanbase keeps increasing.

 

Heroes probably wasn't a phenomenom either, but it was VERY popular, much more popular than Glee is now, in my opinion (not to mention, season 1 of Heroes was one of the best things I've watched on TV in my life).

 

Glee seems to be gaining fans quickly though, so it may get as popular as Heroes was in the future.
