Posted April 19, 201015 yr PBG_6oZLcZU Spark, second second single from Amy Macdonald's sophmore album, A Curious Thing One of my favourite songs from the album and the video is pretty much what you would expect from a Amy Macdonald music video
April 19, 201015 yr I quite like this, but: 1. It'll flop :( 2. I'm going off the album now, it's getting a bit bland imo.
April 19, 201015 yr The album's definitely completely lacking any spark (pun half intended :P) in comparison to This Is The Life but this is one of the only three songs I'm interested in, along with the first single, and the final track What Happiness Means To Me  So yeah, best possible single choice but it won't do anything as like with Mika, the 2010 British music buying public are a different beast to the 2007 British music buying public.
April 19, 201015 yr Having seen the video, I'm now far more interested in the song. It has always been one of the better tracks on the album, but I've not been overly fussed by it until now. A similar thing happened when Run came out on video - I hated it up until then  As has been said, it will completely flop. Although the record label aren't exactly doing much to help her :(
April 19, 201015 yr Its a good enough choice as second single, and although it wont be a hit it should increase album sales,i know the 2nd album isnt selling in huge numbers but its selling steady and i hope it can manage platnum eventually.
April 19, 201015 yr She seems to do really well in Europe and has number 1 singles and albums over there. I don't know why she isnt that popular in the UK. I think this will do a This Is The Life and peak at around 27 but stay around for a while. (18 weeks TITL had)
April 19, 201015 yr I'm also glad she stopped randomly laughing in her music videos. I noticed with the early ones she would start smiling, either due to nerves or because maybe the director farted. Either way, it was off putting
