The Girls Aloud star is believed to be in talks to collaborate with the Pussycat Dolls singer in a bid to break the US. "Nicole's manager wants to look after Cheryl's American campaign," a record label source told the Daily Star. "He knows anyone who has the backing of will.i.am and Simon Cowell will be huge and they want in on it. "She's moving away from R&B to a sound very similar to Cheryl's, so it makes sense for them to record together." The insider also claimed that Cole is receiving high praise from Derek Hough, Scherzinger's partner on Dancing With The Stars who is rumoured to have gone on a date with the singer after she flew to Los Angeles in the wake of her split with husband Ashley. "Derek is constantly raving about Cheryl to Nicole and vice-versa. It's early days yet but it would make sense," the source added. "Nicole's involvement would guarantee a big hit in America, while Cheryl's would guarantee a smash hit back here."
April 20, 201015 yr Ha, as if Nicole's involvement "guarantees a hit in the US." That'd be why she flopped hard with her solo stuff then? It'd be an amazing thing for her, if anything. Cheryl is FAR FAR bigger here than Nicole is anywhere. (although granted on an international level Nicole is more known.)

It makes so much sense :P Surely the fact Nicole's appearing on Dancing With The Stars shows she isnt a huge sucsess in the US as that articel would like to believe? I can see this happening though. Nicole, to be fair has a great voice and it'll be interesting if anything comes of it I suppose.
