Interesting to see Hurts doing well in some European countries. It also enters at #12 in the Danish singles chart this week. I'm still hoping, even with a new video if required, that 'Wonderful Life' will get a proper UK release. Already hit no. 1 in my personal chart way back in January. :D

In Greece, a remix is the most popular version. I forgot which one though

The thing that impresses me the most about eastern european charts for thr most part is their lack of obsession with American music. I mean yeah it's well represented, but so is european music. It reminds me of the western european charts 10 years ago.

And #2 in mine last year sometime :lol: :wub: I can't get excited about Better Than Love, it just doesn't appeal to me anywhere near as much. I guess they were trying to do something more poppy for the lead UK single but I can't see it doing much, it doesn't really stick out as unique like Wonderful Life did in my opinion.

Well... the chart will be bombarded by reallity show-promoted songs. There is Greek idol on and my information is that ratings are high and it is surprisingly (for Greece) influential. We shall see. I think you are wrong about american music in the greek charts though. BEPS, Gaga, Keisha (even flo-rida or Eminem in the near past) have been all over the place. On the contrary the best selling artist of the decade outside America, Robbie Williams, doesn't have a single no1 in Greece (actually not even 3 top ten hits!) which means a lot of european music is neglected in Greece. Also Hip-hop and DJ-dance music (David Guetta or Armin van Buren style) receive HUGE promotion in Greece. Thats why DJ-dance songs (Alors on danse now) top the charts all the time, it is really no surprise.

I didn't say Greece specifically, I said eastern europe :)
