I have just checked and 'GoldRush' was Zechonia's 6th semi last placer so they have already matched Farahtyn and beaten them including this 'lost' one! (And that would include two different Bitter Ruin songs :lol:) Poor poor Zech.

I've first heard this one through the SoySauce edit that's knocking about. It was love at first listen: an enticing voice, pulsating beats and an anthemic hook. The original version stripped it back and gave room for our chanteuse here to really grab us by the ears and kick us in the stomach with this more-than-amazing anthem about freedom.

And then it did something else. After four or five listens it finally hit home for me. We do shit and we get shit for it but that's part of the game. A game we are free to play, for that's what life is for. Stick to your own self and worry not what others may have come to think or hear about you. As she sings, "No-one knows my heart and name / Walk through fire and the rain / We are born free".

Easily the best Vülkyrian entry to date, my favourite anyway, and I'm hoping people give this song it's deserved 4 minutes for a proper listen. It sounded like a Final contender but seeing the PersepBet opening odds of 70/1 and a DNQ prediction our hopes are flailing, but what does Bregh know about it? <_<

Oops forgot to reply. :kink: Glad it made the Final, and it's still my favourite with Lushington a close second. I'll keep on the look out for fab tracks in hope of a lush breakthrough.

WILLA was fab but it was a bit on the mellow side to fence off the rest of the competition. Slowly getting there. Definitely two steps up from the misstep that was Getta Get Thru This 2015 :(

I was planning on having a super cheesy Latin Pop entry this month but came across this on a YouTube playlist and instantly fell in love with its charm. It's Summery, sweet and quirky and it quickly lodges in your my brain. It's probably another one of those entries of mine that stall at 21st place in the Semi-Final, but whatever.

She is Dutch, you hear that Tim? She used to^{citation needed} go by the moniker of Ruby Prophet and has tracks with several DJs including Audien, you hear that Lee?

Questioned about not qualifying Vülkyria to the Buzzjack Song Contest 76 Final, RU.BE said "Yeah well, we didn't qualify, so what? Our cats are mini-celebrities, that's more than I hoped for. I'll probably open a cattery if my career doesn't take off, haha!"

The two cats featured in the "Little Things" performance, Adriaan and Titia, will embark on a two month long international tour aptly titled The Little Meow Things Tour where they will perform the tricks we've seen them doing on stage.

They are also rumoured to take part in the next season of Vülkyria's Got Talent. Meow power!

To coincide with the global Friday Release move our own Official Charts Company opens for business. The first official Vülkyrian Chart, comprised of the most sold and streamed - mostly streamed - songs in the country was released this Friday. DJ star Philip George claimed the first Vülkyrian #1 with popular track 'Afraid To Love'.

KYFRA's 'Lift Me Up', Vülkyria's own entry to the Buzzjack Song Contest 77, had to settle for #14 which is a considerable upgrade on its 33rd placing in the Semifinals. Other BJSC entries charting are KSHMR's 'JAMMU' (#7, Danaelanda), Zac Samuel's 'Set Our Your Loving' (#11, Thelonia), Funkin Matt's 'Rapture' (#21, Usfland), Ferreck Dawn's 'Heaven Sent' (#38, Ethanola) and last month's winner, Aquafina's 'Easy Love' by Sigala, which is one position behind KYFRA at #15.

In the competition's Voting History, Danaelanda is now our favourite country after we gave them a grand total of 68 points: eight more than previous record holders π, formerly known as Elëdan.
