Good video. Love all the effects. It seems that Epic are finally willing to spend some cash on them :)

I agree that this is a grower, I wasn't sure at first but I quite like it now. I think I'll like it more the more I watch the video. I'm sure it'll do well because they've got such a huge fanbase, you can't help but love them!

Not a fan of this and the BGT performance hasn't changed this. Their weakest single to date by a huge margin after the very promising One Shot :(

As much as I like the boys I'm glad this song hasn't done as well.. Hopefully now they can move onto a much better song/album.. Apparently they were pushed into releasing this song by their record label but I wish they had more control and actually said no rather than releasing it

Surely they had better material ? Working with Calvin Harris, Stargate etc..

The only thing I can think of is they were trying to recreate Beat Agains success using Steve Mac as a producer again or it was one of the only songs finished as they are still recording now

perhaps they rushed it out to keep up with their '1 album per year' thing.

although i thought BA and EIL were rubbish, i liked one shot (i am ashamed to say, hahaa), so i was expecting them to grow on me, by gradually releasing better songs that were more to my taste. but they've disappointed. also, is is just me, or are their videos becoming very 'same-y'??

i could believe that the record label pushed them into it, i don't particularly see them as an act with any input power. that all depends on whether the artist needs the label more than the label wants the artist... with some acts, like GaGa and Beyonce, the label would want to keep them and, if they left, they'd get another deal immediately. therefore, they would have as much input as they want. jls need the label more, so they have to listen to and do what they're told... i guess that's just how the industry works.

this song is pretty poor....which is a shame cos I actually like One Shot and Beat Again. I think these guys are talented but if they have very little credibility. If they really wanna hit the big-time, they have got to ditch this crap and come back hard and work on appealing to adults as well as young girls/teens! But tbh i cant see it happening...i mean if Louis Walsh/ Simon Cowell are anything to go by, they will try and turn them into the black version of Westlife (sure that was already more than evident by the song choices Louise forced them to sing on the x factor :puke2: bar umbrella of course)
except they have pretty much nothing to do with Simon or Louis.
I find it very interesting how misinformed people are about JLS. I'm not a fan of them at all but they're hardly as bad as people make out. I can name loads of artists that have far worse musical output than them and some of them would probably have more control over it as well  It just seems that members here always need some males to hate on. McFly, JLS, Westlife. It's silly really.
Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh have nothing to do with the careers of JLS they are signed to Epic not Syco.I think the problem as SweetDreams has pointed out is that as artists they have little control over what they sing or release. It is a shame because their record company seems to have a make hay while the sun shines appraoch to their career.Everything is being fitted in very quickly tour, 2nd album, another round of books-there seems to be no attempt to build long lasting success and credibility with solid good work and performances. They can perform live and sing well so why so much miming these days and fans of boy bands are fickle so it is important that they build up a strong fanbase outside of teen girls which The Club is Alive has not done.
When did i state they had control over them? It is clear to anyone that they will be "mentor" like figures to the guys and i bet they have given them loads of advice on how to sell records!!! ;)

ye it is v.silly especially cause most of them are alexandra burke fanboys,so annoying.but i think JLS will be bigger than Westlife and McFly in the long run dey already got 3 #1 smashes to their name! :) x

I agree. I can understand the hate but they really are not as bad as people make out on here

If people took time out to find out more about them.. I'm sure they would be pretty surprised

I've got good reason to believe they were not keen on The Club Is Alive when first hearing it and were persuaded into releasing it by their record label..

Aston and JB also disliked Beat Again when they first heard it so I really don't think they have as much say in what gets released as they say they do

A few fans on their official forum actually e-mailed Modest Management about the miming and their reply was "We can assure you JLS always sing live" Who are they trying to fool ? |:
