Telephone was so throwaway and blah. The production on Escape is brilliant, electro bliss, particularly when it really kicks up a notch in the second verse :wub:

LOL. Ghosty aside, who has actually called Maniac for the win? As far as I've seen everyone's had it down as the generic pop track which finishes 6th/7th.

To think about it - indeed! Male rapper (although a rubbish one...), chorus sung by a female, melody is quite similar too!! :o Where'd You Go was the stunning track probably that's why i love Airplanes!

U-Turn hasn't worn thin for me yet, but then again it's trashypop so it's so far up my street it's parked outside my house. :heehee:

 

I keep gettin random sections of my entry stuck in my head.

the chorus in Airplanes is definitely better than Where'd you go...but musically (is it ok to say the bass only) on Fort Minor track is better.

I hype Starshell mainly because it's absolute pop confection - and bears a more than passing resemblance to Alejandro, so will likely do as well without the damage of cheap accusations. I see it as a surefire top ten at least.

 

I don't really see N-Dubz (or Luciana) in contention for the top ten - I reckon Luciana will come top fifteen, and maybe finish a few points short of the top ten, but I think people are overpredicting N-Dubz loads.

I think Nonsuch has the win in the bag. While it's not the very best entry, the best ones are little to off the norm for BJ to give high points. The only exception could be N-Dubz&Bodyrox which I'm predicting to be a close second.

I would like to know what everyone expects from their own entries...for example me sending Nora, I would be happy if I get top 30 and I really don't expect more than that...even if it finishes bottom 3 I wouldn't really mind since it's not that easy to listen to...I'm just happy I had guts to send it :heehee:

 

though it hurt me last time when Vita struggled to get top 15 :snif:

I don't see N-Dubz getting anywhere near second - it's not exactly Good Times as spectacular pop-rap goes, is it? :lol: Canon In D will only get a track so far...
