Same here actually, I did consider sending it myself infact. Before I got completely over it in the space of 4 days :( Like you say though, still a good song, and I rated it in line with the fact that I'd liked the song enough to make my chart in the first place.

I would like to know what everyone expects from their own entries...for example me sending Nora, I would be happy if I get top 30 and I really don't expect more than that...even if it finishes bottom 3 I wouldn't really mind since it's not that easy to listen to...I'm just happy I had guts to send it :heehee:

 

though it hurt me last time when Vita struggled to get top 15 :snif:

Unfortunately I don't see my attempt as breaking the mould of K-Pop flops is going to work. I will see it as a blessing not to finish last, my goal is not to be in the bottom 10, but I think even that is unachieveable after looking at people's odds and from the little pieces of convo I've seen about it, it doesn't seem as if Girls' Generation stuck in people's head. I think the biggest impact it would have had is if you watched the video with the subtitles, even I admit the MP3 version isn't strong enough by itself, without people understanding what they are going on about :P Plus, the video version hasn't got all the annoying chattering before and after, and there is a slight difference to some of the production. Oh, well, I will have fun cheering on my favourite :kink:

I entered Aaron Fresh. It's not the best entry, I rank 8 BJSC entries above. It's not got female vocals nor is pop, so I think BB will be hard on it. I was expected a video to turn up for it but that didn't materialise. I would be happy with any top 35 position but expect it to be lower. It may even come last as I don't see who it might appeal to. A good song doesn't do much if there is no matching demographics. Anyway, I think he'll be big in the future no matter the result today.

I'm glad I entered due to the quality of other entries most of which where new to me, and am happy at the format which I think should be continued as it allows more diversity entry.

For Girlicious, top five would obviously be ideal, but top fifteen wouldn't be a disaster. I expect something between 6th and 12th.

I think Push Push could be a wildcard in the competition, especially as the people who love it, really seem to love it. So I think if all those people have given it 18points, and if they are an example of the voting trends, then it could have a shot at Top 5. That's completely wild speculation on my part, and the same logic could be applied to other songs, so take it all with a pinch of salt. I wouldn't be surprised if it missed out on the Top 10 completely.

I don't see N-Dubz getting anywhere near second - it's not exactly Good Times as spectacular pop-rap goes, is it? :lol: Canon In D will only get a track so far...

My look at the personal charts suggests otherwise. If it's the same people voting in BJSC that have entered personal charts then n-Dubz are in for a lot of points today.

I'm expecting pretty much the same for Psycho and wouldn't be surprised if we finish next to each other somewhere between 5th and 15th, even though I'm still pretty sure they won't have taken any votes from one another.

Plagiarism doesn't effect the quality of a song, only the persons moral view of it does.

Yeah, I was considering sending it, but then I saw you and Dré considering it, so I left it. It charted fairly high for me and then just dropped within a few weeks. It sounded better again after not listening to it for a while though! :D

 

On the subject of 'Push Push'. For some reason I love Kat DeLuna :lol: Hope it does well ^_^

I really loved it at first. I think I have it 9/10 in the first round but it went downhill from then. Some of the lyrics are inventive like wearing your last name. :D
