Listened to all the songs properly twice now, and have some firm favourites, but I am undecided about the order and what to cut :drama: The file is finally downloading for me now, so will put all the songs on to my iPod and listen to them overnight and tomorrow before I make my final decision. I am shocked however at the odds, some of my favourites are doing abysmally :o

My tiresome bitching? First of all, I'm not the only one whose shown disagreement and dislike to the new system. Second of all, whether you agree with my judgment of it or not you have no right as a mod to remove things from my post just because you disagree with them. If someone in PC put JLS at #1 I wouldn't close their chart no matter how much it sickened me. It's like in The Lounge too, when you closed the poll on Birthday Threads despite Jark leaving it open and saying it would be discussed and even though the poll was showing more people wanted them back you still closed it because you disagree.

 

Dont get me wrong Tirren, you know I love you, but at the end of the day you dont really have a right to edit things just because you disagree with them.

I know full well that you dislike the current system, and others do as well. Not everyone else feels the need to insert bitchy little quips into every single comment or question upon it though.

 

And don't go all THISISPOP on me and start bringing up issues you have with me elsewhere on the site when you do this jazz, yeah bbz?

I've been moderator of a forum devoted to a contest to which it is impossible to make the slightest change without getting at least a few people throw themselves out of the window. I've LONG since learned to take criticism. Anyways trying to steer things back to the topic discussed on the previous Page.

 

I think this has been a good experiment.

 

I honestly thought this would not have been a great idea on a full time basis; but knowing that if we had Semi Finals I definitely would not have sent Katie Melua (I'd have sent the more BJSC friendly Lights - because I aim to qualify for the Final - anything else is a bonus), so I guess that could be used as an argument in favour of this Finals only format as I sent something more experimental and (at least in my mind at the time) risky.

How was making that poll not my place to start in the first place? By saying that your going with my theory of you not being able to take suggestions, how dare I start something against what you want? As a regular poster of the lounge I think I have every right to post that poll, and quite clearly a fair few people agreed with me, surely as a mod of the lounge you want to take suggestions, but obviously not, you seem to just reject them, however much Jark disagreed he still kept the thread open and allowed discussion on the topic, he may of been against the idea but at least he allows other people to state their view on the matter however as soon as you come along you close the thread, you give excuses like "no one has complaiend about this before" it's because people feel too initimitated because of things such as that, they dont want their thread shut on them by you, im sorry I allowed a platform for lounge posters to state their view, I was in any right to make that poll. you clearly cant take other opinons when you close a thread where more than 50% of it disagreed with you.
