The 41-year-old singer is working on the project with William Baker, her friend, stylist and creative director, who helmed a West End revival of Rent in 2007. However, the currently-untitled musical will not tell the story of the singer's own rise to fame. "Yes, William Baker and I are working on getting the story written," Minogue told Elle. "I'm comfortable because it's not my life story; it's about the interpretation of my music." Minogue has notched up 29 UK top ten hits, including seven number ones, since making her chart debut in 1988. She releases her eleventh studio album Aphrodite on July 5.
