Think I shall go with that one too, as I needed all my strength of patience not to throw this PC out of the window this last fortnight

LOL! I know the feeling. PCs can be a pain sometimes. Hope you get things sorted out soon.

Hey man, don't throw your PC out the window! PC's are fun! Imagine this: I bought my first(8088 IBM compatible with monochrome monitor) around 1989. All for music, not long after I bought a PC-MIDI card from 12-tone(Cakewalk), installed it and was recording songs in no time! That beloved PC is long gone RIP.

What was my topic? Oh yeah....I mentioned I work night shift in a dorm for visually impaired kids(some mentally challenged). Which means I "wake them up" at 6am. After being on this site for a week or so, I figured what the heck. There's a PC with speakers near their rooms(they all play MP3's when they wake anyway). I had a 4 day weekend(during which I watched all those EP movies) then returned to work and woke them at 6AM with "Devil in Disguise"-link generously provided by another fan here. One guy yelled "Play Houndog Jim!". Next morning, 6AM I wake them with Jailhouse Rock. Then the previously requested Hound Dog. "Play Jailhouse Rock again Jim!" 40 or more years later....these dudes want to hear EP. Okay......what next? Heartbreak Hotel I am thinkin'......just in good fun......It is a great way to end my shift and make them happy. Although I think some of the guys want the dorm to open up to ACDC or Ozzy. I am obviously having fun with this.....

The PC survived, Jim B) Fantastic to hear how the kids are really getting into Elvis and enjoying it

Just broken up for a weeks half term holiday here, so I'm in a pretty good mood (apart from suffering with a heavy cold) so going for Patch It Up as it always gets me dancing :cheer:
