I think 'the look' is just laughable now tbh, really not a big deal at all, but people just make it one.
but he was hardly attacking her then, he was just telling her what he thought about those patronising looks that she gives. at least he's upfront about his opinions on people and literally tells them to the persons face which is really respect rather than someone like govan who would have just b**ched to josie about it.

he bitches about behind her back to other housemates as well hardly upfront

I love it.

I'm sorry, but I don't get the anger over 'the look'. I've caught up on last night's show now and it just seems unnecessary. I think it's because her look is one I'm quite familiar with myself. I don't think it's one you do when you think someone is a bit of gum on your shoe. More a look of being puzzled or confused. I think doing it in reaction to Sunshine saying Shadow Cabinet is the perfect example of it. I'd have done the same thing because it was such a silly answer to an obvious question. Not that I'd think "oh Sunshine, I'm so much better than you".

well you don't expect him to only vent his frustration to just her do you? if he did that then she really would be crying!

Except he has already spoken to here about it.

Wow, this threads become heated!

Like I said,JJs behaviour was pretty bad, but he has a point and I just cant feel sympathy for Rachael- the 'looks' are apparent and the crying just gets on my nerves- to me, shes playing the victim- and, if the odds are something to say, its not worked

On to tonight, Im honestly not sure who I want to go, although, I think Sunshine should stay- shes not as much of a bitch as she was at the start- so Shabby or Rachael for me- I can guarantee you they will ALL be booed though

How could you all like Bea, Bex and Charley- they were vile characters- could you defend their actions? :o

I didn't like Bea, personally, she WAS vile. Charley and Bex however were amazing housemates, always entertaining even if they weren't always in the right.

It astounds me how people can support people like Rex, Marcus, Jason, Victor and John James but there you go.

well excatly you said he was always upfront about it when he is not

Good on John James for giving Rachel some home truths. There are a lot of Rachel's out there in the real world (someone earlier in the thread said about 80% of young women are like her; in my experience it's nothing close to that, but there's still a lot), who think they're better than others just because of how they look, and people generally don't give them a reality check often enough.

It astounds me how people can't see Rachael for who she really is, I don't get how you can't see how patronising she is personally, it's just so obvious to me, because she's like it so often.

Oh, Bea was horrific and Charley wasnt all that great either - just the best of a very very bad bunch of housemates. Bex was brilliant though :P

I kinda like Victor and Rex tbh - had some funny lines and an interesting personality. John James to me is more a Sezer/Kris figure.

Oh well, we'll have to agree to disagree. I just really don't see it at all personally.

But. But. We can't disagree. :( We agree on so much. :snif:

well excatly you said he was always upfront about it when he is not

yeah and like steve said he told her about it and then vented his anger out to his mates. there's nothing wrong with that. it's not like he's talking about her behind her back because she already knows what he thinks of her so he's only telling his mates things that he's told her personally already. and at least it wasn't a case of her finding out about him talking about her and then her asking to talk to him about it, he was upfront to her and brought HER aside to try and resolve the issue.

and btw sceneofsixcrimes, i don't think any of us who are supporting john james are basing our opinions on rachel from her vt. we, well i am anyway, are basing it on those patronising looks that she gives to people as if she's better than them and the fact that she clearly wants to be famous when she gets out and be all over nuts which to me makes me believe that she loves herself.

Rex and Marcus were brilliant- although I see how people would find them obnoxious

Thing is they werent just mean, they were funny

I think 'the look' should have its own separate thread or even forum.

It's become a national phenomenon

BOW DOWN TO 'THE LOOK'

Rex and Marcus were brilliant- although I see how people would find them obnoxious

Thing is they werent just mean, they were funny

I thought Bex and Charley were far more funny, although with Charley it was more unintentional.

Each to their own though.
