I really like the album. I'm not surprised with the chart position because it's not available on any download sites apart from Tescos and I don't think a lot of people use it?, It should at least be on iTunes, Amazon, HMVdigital etc. :( I know it wouldn't make a huge difference but it would help a bit.

Overall rankings then now that a time perioud has passed. It's an extremly strong debut album, the quality dips somewhat near the end though as she just about manages to avoid falling into blandness. I'm also still struggling to like Sexy Love Affair.

At this stage i just hope she can stay top 40 on sunday.

I don't see it - I think she'll end up in the 40s.

Ya top 50 is looking highly likely which is a huge shame, i wonder will we get future singles of the album is this happens?
Apparently 'Put Your Hands Up' was the slated second single, but I don't think it matters... no future single will even chart from this dog's dinner of a project no matter what it is.

Aside from having their staff actually walk round the shop sticking copies in people's shopping baskets I don't know what more Tesco could do to promote the album? My local store has a big banner outside the shop, her own POS (that's proper retail talk for you) loaded with copies of the album by the front of the store which everyone sees when they walk in.

I've seen several adverts on TV, there was one during X Factor... she's done a decent amount of promo.

People just don't like her it seems. Such a shame as the album is really very good I feel!

The main problem is radio snubbing her and her getting an absolutely tiny amount of video play, one Paul O'Grady performance isn't exactly going to cut it, this whole project has just been handled apallingly and unlike Cheryl she doesn't have the advantage of such a high public profile, it's all just a mess which is a shame as she herself has actually put the effort into this and had input, which is respectable.

#38 :o

Ouch!

Shame, she is a really talented vocalist. Just I don't know what on earth possessed her to make it exclusive to Tesco!? I mean I know with this position it would never have been near the top spot, but top 20 could have been achieved :drama:

Oh well, roll on album 2 :kink:

That said, I loved one of that group of ballads, You Are The One!

Oh my word, I'm not being funny but ARE YOU BEING FUNNY? I had to delete You Are The One. It's the one of the worst ballads I've heard in a very long time. Sickly melody, wildly off key vocals, just a total turd. In fairness to good old NADS though most of the ballads on here are decent. Natural should be a stinker but somehow it works. I didn't want to like Raw but it won me over. Unbroken is quite incredible.

With regards to the second single Runnin' would be a disaster of fail to chart proportions. PYHU might do semi-alright (top 40) but I really think Lullaby is the only chance at a small hit.

No, I was being honest...I like the melody, more interesting to me than most of the other ballads which I forgot straight away...

Reminded me of something that Atomic Kitten might do - and I know this sounds like a disaster to most people but I loved their style of pop music.

You Are the One is the only ballad I like, actually. I love her voice in the verses.

And dam, Red Light shoulda been the next single. Although Runnin' is also one of my favorites, I think Put Your Hands Up is better as a single.

It's out the top 40 in todays midweeks :(
Running and Put your hands up are the only two i like on the album atm. Quite dissapointed... :(

My album still hasn't arrived - it's been 7 days since it was dispatched!
I'd go with either 'Red Light' or 'Lullaby' as second single myself, both are for me the best tracks on the album and would probably manage low top 40 I'd presume.
