Rex FeaturesTony Mortimer has commented on Robbie Williams's return to Take That.

The former East 17 singer reacted to yesterday's confirmed reunion on his Twitter account, suggesting that poor sales were behind it.

"Robbie joined tt? haha was album sales that bad (sic)," he wrote.

"I think someone should make a charity cagefight between me and anyone from tt."

Last year, the songwriter admitted that he found Take That's successful comeback hard to watch

Rex FeaturesTake That will reportedly earn £75 million following Robbie Williams's return to the group.

Williams, who left the band in 1995, confirmed yesterday that he will rejoin them for an album and arena tour.

According to The Sun, each member of Take That stands to make £15 million from the deal, including record sales, royalties, endorsements and concert tickets.

A source told the newspaper: "Robbie has some commitments with Live Nation and a couple of appearances with Gary for the new single lined up.

"But after that, Take That's creative tour team will be working on the biggest show they have ever put on. Kim Gavin, who has worked with Take That on all their spectacular tours, is already briefed and ready to start coming up with amazing ideas."

Yesterday, Williams unveiled the tracklist and artwork for his retrospective LP In And Out Of Conciousness - The Greatest Hits 1990-2010.

The album will feature a duet with Take That frontman Gary Barlow, called 'Shame'.

Shame indeed -_-

I feel empty. Does that make sense?

He sounds all happy anyway. You think RW will make a statement to his fans? <_<

I doubt it has even crossed his mind Jups ....he has annoyed a whole lot of people & it is his own fault -_- all he had to do was write a simple blog directly to his fans B)

I guess those people who were big TT fans the first time round will be happy. The newer TT fans will probably be less than happy (most of them seem to detest Robbie anyway). The solo Robbie fans in the UK and Ireland are probably miserable as sin today. And I suspect the overseas Robbie fans are totally confused and busy googling to find out who the heck TT are....
I haven't been googling TT....since I have a miniscule knowledge of them.....same could be said for my knowledge of Robbie.....it really looks like the only reason they tied the knot again, is the money.....and the fans be damned.....

Maybe that's the right response. Take the p*** big time.

And see this proposed tour thing? I actually think he could get booed

Think you could be right there, very possible

The last Madonna concert I went to, she was booed at the start of the show, wasn't nice and

felt very uncomfy

I must admit I'm slightly curious how this is going to work. Is Robbie going to do backing vocals for most of the show but get lead on a couple of numbers like in the old days?
