Some may disagree, but I think this is a vintage chart. So many of the tracks in the top ten wouldn't sound out of place on the radio 20 years on and have lived on to be classics, embraced by a new generation. The top ten also features arguably Kylie and Madonnas best singles.

01. Adamski - Killer A great callob, very of the time, Seal would later own the following year...

02. Kylie Minogue - Better The Devil You Know What else can be said about this except ABSOLUTE CLASSIC! Gone was the singing budgie and 80s perm. Kylie will, IMO, never top this. And SAWs finest hour.

03. The Adventures Of Stevie V - Dirty Cash Great dance track, still sounds fresh and different 20 years on. Dizzee Rascal didn't need to add anything to it.

04. New Kids On The Block - Cover Girl OK, so theres a bit of rubbish...

05. En Vogue - Hold On For me, this is the greatest girlband; this is my idea of a GREAT R&B track with slick hook and such profound vocal. An all-time personal fave.

06. Chimes - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For Never care for U2, but I think this is a great track.

07. Paula Abdul With The Wild Pair - Opposites Attract I liked this at the time... not so sure now though! :-)

08. Madonna - Vogue Overplayed, but still delivers.

09. Beats International - Won't Talk About It Very much 'of the time'. This hip-house sound was everywhere in 90!

10. Mantronix Featuring Wondress - Take Your Time Not a jot on 'Got Yo Have Your Love', but a nice track all the same.

And of the rest, I like:

14. Soul II Soul - A Dream's A Dream I've always preferred their lesser-known tracks to their bigger hits.

27. Lisa Stansfield - What Did I Do To You (EP)

29. Happy Mondays - Step On

33. Betty Boo - Doin' The Do

35. Talk Talk - It's My Life {1990}

42. NWA - Express Yourself {1990}

50. BBG - Snappiness

Interesting seeing Bass-o-matic on there - William Orbit's finest hour IMO.....
Bar Depeche Mode and Madonna, the top 20 is a bit naff....

01. Adamski - Killer This a great track that I still love 20 years on

02. Kylie Minogue - Better The Devil You Know Kylie only got interesting much later on

03. The Adventures Of Stevie V - Dirty Cash Never liked this or the Dizzee Rascal version either

04. New Kids On The Block - Cover Girl Piffle

05. En Vogue - Hold On Have liked some of their other stuff but not this one

06. Chimes - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For Was never into this cover

07. Paula Abdul With The Wild Pair - Opposites Attract She was responsible for some bloody awful music

08. Madonna - Vogue This is all right but has been terribly over played

09. Beats International - Won't Talk About It Don't like this

10. Mantronix Featuring Wondress - Take Your Time Or this one either

These are the tracks I like from the rest of the chart

16. Depeche Mode - Policy Of Truth

28. The Wonder Stuff - Circlesquare

29. Happy Mondays - Step On

35. Talk Talk - It's My Life {1990}

41. Thunder - Backstreet Symphony

42. NWA - Express Yourself {1990}

44. James - How Was It For You?

45. Marc Almond - The Desperate Hours

64. Jesus Jones - Real Real Real

66. Bass-O-Matic - In The Realm Of The Senses

68. The Farm - Stepping Stone/Family Of Man

73. Morrissey - November Spawned A Monster

Ooh, this was the chart of my birth week. I always knew Adamski was #1 when I was born (I don't like it :() but I hadn't seen the whole chart before!

Not sure there's a whole lot I recognise from it. I obviously know Kylie and Madonna, both are pretty good, I think I like Paula Abdul and Eurthymics from here too.

Oh my...20 years is it? God, I'm feeling old now. There were some brilliant records out at this time (mind you, this was a time when I was into chart music more than any other).

01. Adamski - Killer

This was my favourite record for years. I remember seeing the video with Seal's revolving head on the Chart Show and being mesmerised. I went out and bought it that same afternoon. It's still a belter of a track, even though many have sadly forgotten the part Adamski played in its creation.

02. Kylie Minogue - Better The Devil You Know

This was around the time that Kylie 'grew up'? Wasn't it? Still a pretty putrid pop song.

03. The Adventures Of Stevie V - Dirty Cash

Great dance record...and if it's good enough for Dizzee Rascal now then that should be good enough for most people.

04. New Kids On The Block - Cover Girl

Don't remember this one, but I'll bet it was full of helium-vocalled preppy toss.

05. En Vogue - Hold On

Their best record with quite a tasty swingbeat.

06. Chimes - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

Very pointless cover of U2. Didn't really bring much new to it.

07. Paula Abdul With The Wild Pair - Opposites Attract

I was a huge fan of this song and bought it on cassette single. I loved the video too. Really hasn't aged well...but I liked the Family Guy update of it.

08. Madonna - Vogue

I think Madonna was at her peak between 1989 and 1990 ('Hanky Panky' excepted) and this was a great pop record.

09. Beats International - Won't Talk About It

Pretty bland follow up to 'Dub Be Good to Me' - I think it was actually released in 1989 where it flopped.

10. Mantronix Featuring Wondress - Take Your Time

Nowhere near as good as 'Got to Have Your Love'

AND SELECTED OTHER COMMENTS...

12. Don Pablo's Animals - Venus - so simple, just a few bars of Shocking Blue and some woo-yeahs. I loved it.

15. UB40 - Kingston Town - sadly I bought this when it came out. God knows why. Awful cod reggae.

17. Snap! - The Power - A great record, albeit a rip off of another dance record and of Jocelyn Brown (I think)'s vocals.

19. Family Stand - Ghetto Heaven - jumping on the Soul II Soul bandwagon, but a great record in its own right with what sounds like James Brown 'uurrgh' samples.

20. The B-52s - Roam - bought this on cassette single as I loved 'Love Shack'. Was very disappointed, but it did have live version of Rock Lobster as a B-side.

28. The Wonder Stuff - Circlesquare - an ok record from the band sandwiched between much better releases.

29. Happy Mondays - Step On - an all-time indie disco floor-filling classic. I never get tired of this track.

33. Betty Boo - Doin' The Do - loved this record, especially the nonsensical bash st kids stlye video

36. Jane Child - Don't Wanna Fall In Love - I bought this. Why oh why? A bizarre cyberpunk type woman doing what appeared to be Heart covers.

38. Bizz Nizz - Don't Miss The Party Line - cheesy euro pop a year before 2 Unlimited.

39. Emma - Give A Little Love Back To The World - Eurovision jelly and ice cream. A huge flop too :)

50. BBG - Snappiness - this was quite the dance record back in its time.

52. Coldcut Featuring Queen Latifah - Find A Way - oh, I must get hold of this record. I loved it - completely forgot about it.

57. Laid Back - Bakerman - is this the 'White Horse' Laid Back? Would like to hear this

64. Jesus Jones - Real Real Real - great record, shame they kinda lost it after this abum.

68. The Farm - Stepping Stone/Family Of Man - pretty shambolic version of the Monkees. I used to love them, but Groovy Train is really their only good song.
