There's a rumour going round that Robbie Keane's on his way to Sunderland. Nothing concrete yet, but there have been murmurs on a few messageboards (Inculding from Spurs fans).

Yeah it is all over our leading message board (COYS)

£6m

You are also after Carlton Cole too apparently which makes sense given Jones gone, Keane is a midget

Aye, seems to be between Cole, Keane and Gyan.

Gyan would be a good signing I think. Cole is way overrated.

A few moves recently but nothing massive.

Looking at Blackpool's squad and transfer dealings makes me depressed when I think they beat us in the play-offs. Pitman rejected them to move to the Championship, Chesterfield were on the verge of signing Francis Jeffers when Blackpool took him on trial, and now they've signed Luke Varney.  He is never a Premier League player, he was dreadful for Charlton in the Championship, dreadful for Derby and alright for Sheffield Wednesday on loan (they still got relegaed though). Premier League defences have nothing to worry about.

N'Zogbia left out of the Wigan squad today and he's in talks with us according to Soccer Saturday.

Gyan apparently waiting on a work permit.

Cole and Konchesky going to Liverpool

Plz wake me up from this average joe nightmare. The team for tomorrow against looks depressingly un-creative. Desperately need a creative midfielder, and hopefully someone under the age of 30.

Is that Carlton Cole?

Gyan deal done and confirmed. Thought to be in the region of £12m.
Deadline Day is always the most depressing day of the year as a Forest fan. Goodbye Billy, I hope you can find a club that appreciates your talents. :(
For £8M too!

Yep :o

World class player for 1/3 of what Milner cost City :o

The PL still have to agree but they did for Gallas/Cole and Benjani and Arshavin so will have to here

Van Der Vaart is good, but why do Spurs need him?

£8m is a good price, but I don't think he's a brilliant player. I thought they needed/wanted another striker and not an attacking midfielder?

He will play the top place in a diamond just behind a main striker

The guy is easily Gerrard level as a player plus he can play on the left too, also has one of the hardest shots in football

Harry wants to go 4-5-1 so it will be Bale and Lennon on the wings, Hudd just infront of the defence, Modric in the middle and then VDV playing just off Defoe

VDV scores a good few goals too

Sorry but there's np way he's as good as Gerrard LOL (or was at his peak...)

He's a good player, but far too inconsistent. On his day he is very good, but he just has far too many off days imo. He's a good signing, but he's been signed purely for the Champions League imo.
