I'm not at all surprised it's flopping. Winning the Mercury is only good long term promotion if the people who buy it actually think it's good. Virtually everyone I know thinks their debut was awful and I dare say they immediately lost all interest.

There was absolutely no buzz around this, to be fair.

Does anyone else find this completely unlistenable? I'm not talking MGMT unlistenable... but close.

I haven't listened to this at all. Echoes was absolute crap and has really turned me off listening to it.

 

And Myths was soooo overrated. Not a bad album but...
