June 4, 201015 yr Wow, Acker Bill walked it in the end - a good 6000+ points clear of Kings Of Leon. I suppose it was a predictable winner as most people knew it had an incredible chart run. The first UK #2 to become a million seller.

June 5, 201015 yr Author Amazing work! Thank you! I will publish top 50 in my blog if you don't mind Not at all. Pleased you apprecite the countdown.
June 5, 201015 yr Author According to Wiki this had a brief chart run reaching number 39 in 1994. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set_You_Free Very true. I included it in the calculation for the correct points but forgot to added it to the chart run posted so at least the points are still the same The summary in page one has a slight error at number 100 or 101 Thanks for that. Its now been corrected. You lot dont miss a beat do ya lol. Thanks again

I figured if it wasn't me who said it someone else would. it was such a mammoth feat that a few errors are insignificant.
June 5, 201015 yr Author Sorry. I know I was being pedantic. I figured if it wasn't me who said it someone else would. it was such a mammoth feat that a few errors are insignificant. I thought there would be a lot more tbh. The number 1s countdown should start soon. Im just waiting for a few 2009 songs to leave the chart
June 5, 201015 yr Im just waiting for a few 2009 songs to leave the chart We could be waiting quite a while. Sex on Fire will be criminally high in the number 1s list.
June 5, 201015 yr Author We could be waiting quite a while. Sex on Fire will be criminally high in the number 1s list. A lot of the songs im waiting for cant really get any higher in the countdown. It just really "Bad Romance" that im waiting to leave now.
June 5, 201015 yr A lot of the songs im waiting for cant really get any higher in the countdown. It just really "Bad Romance" that im waiting to leave now. I think that means I Got a Feeling and Sex On Fire are so high up that nothing can catch them Looking back at the number 2s chart. I take it that two weeks at number 36 would get you more points than a week at number 2?
June 5, 201015 yr I'm backing Frankie Laine's I Believe (36 weeks in the top 11, 18 of those at #1) to do well in the #1s countdown. I don't think it'll be the #1 #1, but definitely at least top 10. Sex On Fire, I Gotta Feeling and Poker Face what with their enormous runs are surely also a shoo-in for the top 10. No idea at all who could get the #1. Edited June 5, 201015 yr by Bray
June 5, 201015 yr Another #1 that has a strong chance of at least being top 10 is The Beatles 'She Loves You' but I agree with Bray. 'I Believe' is certainly the most obvious winner straight away. Then again have we had any no. 1 hits that have charted several times over the course of several years? 'Relax' by FGTH is another that was around for ages.

Lets just say the top10 is very interesting
