Will David make it for Sunday, is the question on everyone`s lips? The answer is I`m not gonna stick my neck out, but it is "Gettin Close"!!! It will be there next week, for sure...then there`s Miley Cyrus. Will she be in the top ten on Sunday? Well she`ll definately be heading towards the top 15. The downloads taking over even more, with just 16 of the 40 available in the shops, and one of them only available on import.

Thanks Dave!

Any idea where Alphabeat is on the overall singles? Top 100? I really hope so... Looking at the positive though, Scissor Sisters #2 on pre-order albums :cheer:

 Where did that subtitle for Watercolour come from?

I think it should have a subtitle though. I always think having a song with a title that isn't said in the chorus/entire song must harm its sales.

"Try Sleeping With A Broken Leg" :kink:

Its HEART not LEG :P lucky it wasn't a five letter word starting with P

Unfortunately for us, they don`t even make out top 100. Shocking really, I would have thought it would have scraped the top 50 even.

That is shocking. They just haven't been getting the support they need from the record company this era :(

Ever thought how insensitive that attempt at humour may be to an actual amputee?

I show this thread to my parents every week (my mother had her leg amputated when she was 8) and will not show them this weeks thread thanks to your ignorance.

Apologies. It started out as a genuine error on my part, as I was trying to do 2 things at once. Then I didn`t check it, and the other comments/jokes rolled in. We`ll keep it, to the point in future.

Unfortunately though we can`t wrap people in cotton wool, and I think most like it to be light-hearted & not take it too serious. If we did, we`d have a Country, where everybody would be scared to speak to each other. Then everyone would be miserable in another sense. No comedians on TV, no comedy...just too much serious stuff, & no fun. I`m sure nobody wants to live that way. It seems that`s where the general media is heading today, though.

Feel free to edit the offending posts.

Don't worry, most of us know it was just for the humour and you weren't intending to offend anyone. :)
