Eurovision has a legacy of some real ear-rape moments. One that ALWAYS sticks in mind and I always revisit every year is Israels entry from 2000. The vocals is so painfully off-key I remember wetting myself at the time which is why I remember it so well.

A lead singer with an incredibly punchable face and terrible voice + 'Music Stars' with no apparent talent + a terrible song = nul points

That Swiss song from 2004 has to be up there with the worst ever Eurovision songs - certainly amongst the worst of the noughties anyway!

Yes, that was indeed quite terrible. An example here of a beautiful song, but death by choreography:

:drama: and I love the studio version :lol: So so truly hideous, I had to mute my TV, sounds like a really bad X Factor audition.

I didn't pay much attention to Eurovision before 2007, but I'm sure no song of the past decade was worse than this

I can totally see why Croatia missed the final now. I remember when I first heard it I thought it was pretty mediocre and I didn't get into it until after about 12 listens, and then it became epic and a "sure qualifer". The live vocal was not great either, plus that really grumpy look one of the girls gave the camera just before the performance :lol:

Despite all of this though, considering some of the disasters they've qualified with in the last few years it was sensational :drama:

 

I just can't believe they've managed to DNQ with Lako Je Sve, yet that absolutely horrendous old man thing in 2008 went to the final...
