Lucas Secon, song writer wrote songs such as "I Hate This Part" for PCD, "Gravity" for Pixie Lott and countless others for Jordin Sparks, Travie McCoy & Alexandra Burke. Well his recent works includes a new song for Kylie Mingoue called "Get Outta My Way" which will feature on her new album "Aphrodite" but Lucas Secon confirmed when Jive heard the song they offered him a large amount of money for the song so they could give it to Britney..

Q: What about your work for Kylie ?

R: Awww, I'm uber pleased to have a record of mine on her album!

Actually it's my first song on a Kylie Minogue record, we had never worked together before,

so I'm very glad and proud at the same time!

Q: Tell us about the song then!

R: The song's called "Get Outta My Way", it's a dancey tune I cowrote with Damon Sharpe

and others guys last year, and me and Cutfather coproduced the backing track as well .

We were flattered about how it turned out, it's very instant and even features two choruses!

Q: Kylie was the intended act you wrote the song for, correct ?

R: Not really, we didn't create the song with a particular act in mind, we wrote/produced it

just because we wanted to make a great record, I mean, something the labels could get hungry for!!

My publicist began sending the early demo (sung by me) to labels who asked us for new tracks

and we actually had 5 contenders for Get Outta My Way, including Kylie of course!

Q: Who the others were ? ?

R: I don't want to spoil too much, but I can say Jive was so damn begging for the track

to be recorded by Britney and they even offered a huge amount of money to persuade us .

Q: Money does talk, does it ?

R: Yes, I would be a complete hypocrite if I would say we were about to turn their offer down,

but one day I casually got from Parlophone the words Kylie expressed after hearing our demo

and she said she had found the number to close her next tour with, instead of Love At First Sight!

I nearly cried when I read that!

So, you can easily see the reason why she got the song now.

LMAO - says it all about respect + credibility from the majority - all the sales in the world won't earn you any without integrity to build up those qualities, so unsurprisingly(eg the avalanche of negative crowd + media reaction to the fan screw over/rip off tour - the reaction greatest in Aus) something britneys career will never develop. Britney albums are now always filled up with the same load of old $h!te with all these unwanted dregs/leftover tracks rejected by any artist with a smidgen of credibility  - clearly there was a mix up at the (Jive sausage) factory when "In the Zone" was manufactured AKA Britney producing (ie making INSTANT coffee in the studio :o) at the same time as using a fully loaded car to wreak as much damage and destruction as humanely possible in LA

fyi the 'Get Outta My Way' track is now drawing the same widespread glowing praise of 'All the Lovers' which is fortunate since its the second single from 'Aphrodite'.

I think on the whole, reaction to the tour was positive?

I LOVE love love Get Outta My Way, but I can't imagine Britney's version of it, so I understand why Jive didn't take it for Britney. Kylie's version is wonderful, but is 'very Kylie' just like Telephone was better done by GaGa and Beyoyo than Britney's demo.

Get Outta My Way or Telephone?

GOMW is a bit euro-poppish than Britney, so I don't hear her singing it - same as when it was rumoured/confirmed she had done a Graffiti My Soul demo - I can't imagine anyone other than Girls Aloud singing that, and certainally not Brit!
