July 13, 200916 yr Well if it stays where it is on UK iTunes, #12, it will hopefully sell another 18k this week, and I don't know if songs get boost in the UK, but lets say it sells 20k album release week, that will put it at 126,000, and if it sells ok after that it could hit 200k. ^_^
July 13, 200916 yr Author  We don't need a new thread for every little Jordin question... use the threads already open please.

(Let The Music Play): (Chris Barbosa, Ed Chisolm) It Takes More: (Andrea Martin, Carsten Mortensen, Lucas Secon) Watch You Go: (Joshua Coleman, Benjamin "Benny Blanco" Levin, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Faheem Najm) No Parade: (Scott Cutler, Anne Preven, Dapo Torimiro) Let It Rain: (Lindy Robbins, Toby Gad) Emergency (911): (Jordin Sparks, Lindy Robbins, Toby Gad) Was I the Only One: (Jordin Sparks, Christa Black, Sam Mizell, Shane Stevens) Faith: (Jordin Sparks, Lindy Robbins, Toby Gad) The Cure: (Jordin Sparks, Claude Kelly, Carlos "L.O.S. Da Maestro" McKinney) Was hoping for a few more writing credits from Jordin but 4 is an improvement on 1 from the first album. :)
July 13, 200916 yr is that how the tracklist is ordered because it's not that fair to have her 4 tracks at the bottom really. It doesn't show much confidence in her.
July 13, 200916 yr Yes thats the order. E(911) and Was I The Only One are two nice songs for her to have credits on. I was hoping she might appear on the credits for No Parade and DLIGTYH.
July 13, 200916 yr 'It Takes More' is very mediocre. :( I really love it. It's actually quickly becoming my favourite out of the 5 tracks I've heard so far. Definitely a grower. :) Surprisingly, SOS is probably my least favourite and that's the next single. I do like it but the slow tempo makes it lose some impact and I think there could be another Leona 'Forgive Me' situation with the public not buying those lyrics from her. "That crazy chick don't know who she is messing with." Oh yes Jordin because you're so intimidating.
July 13, 200916 yr Author SOS is really not a good pick for second single at all. Most of the response that I've seen to it has been pretty negative. an 'upbeat ballad' like Walking On Snow would be a much better choice I reckon. Hopefully they see sense and change it... Emergency (911) is bugging me too. The chorus is CRAP. The rest is brilliant and fierce and then the chorus is all tame and anti-climactic. I was hoping she might appear on the credits for No Parade and DLIGTYH. Don't Let It Go To Your Head is a cover!
July 13, 200916 yr ^ I agree Walking On Snow would be better. It has a more unique sound and better suited lyrics.

Oo didn't know that. I agree on 2nd single - I'd have gone for WoS, No Parade or Watch You Go.
July 13, 200916 yr anyone else thinkin her UK team/label have completley 4got bout her? look at their site - no video featured and her own UK site hasnt been updated since her last albums release. Sony have been goin feckin insane latley http://www.rcalabelgroup.co.uk/
July 13, 200916 yr Oo didn't know that. I agree on 2nd single - I'd have gone for WoS, No Parade or Watch You Go. yeh whats Watch U Go Like? Dr luke done it right?
July 14, 200916 yr I'll give a proper review at a few days but heres my ratings on first listen: 07.0 Walking On Snow 08.0 Battlefield 07.0 Don't Let It Go To Your Head 06.0 S.O.S (Let The Music Play) - Hope this isnt the second single -_- 07.0 It Takes More 07.0 Watch You Go - Somewhat dissapointing for a Dr Luke track 07.5 No Parade 08.0 Let It Rain 07.5 Emergency (911) 03.0 Was I Only The One 03.5 Faith 05.5 Cure 04.0 Papercut 04.0 Postcard Overall: 6.0 - Unfortunately it is indeed a dissapointment, nowhere near as good as her debut to be honest though its very much listenable other than the bonus tracks and the last ballads. 'Let It Rain' is certainly a very good song though nothing on here is as good as 'Battlefield' was. Meh -_- Edited July 14, 200916 yr by Conor
July 14, 200916 yr After one listen through, I think it's much better than her debut. :) Whoever did the tracklisting sucks though. Three slow songs at the end of the standard tracklisting (Was I The Only One, Faith and The Cure.)
July 14, 200916 yr Author Not a patch on her debut... 09.0 Walking On Snow 09.5 Battlefield 07.0 Don't Let It Go To Your Head 08.0 SOS 08.5 It Takes More 08.5 Watch You Go 07.5 No Parade 07.5 Let It Rain 08.5 Emergency 06.0 Was I The Only One 06.5 Faith 07.5 The Cure A lot of bland, MOR ballads on there... shame.
July 14, 200916 yr 1. Walking On Snow - Very refreshing song, great production and tempo for her. This definitely should be a single at some point. 9.5/10 2. Battlefield - Still love this and I'm surprised it hasn't done better in the charts. Maybe people are bored with that sound but I still think it's amazing. 10/10 3. Don't Let It Go To Your Head - Didn't really like Fefe's version but love Jordin's. 9/10 4. S.O.S (Let The Music Play) - As I've said before, lyrics don't suit her at all which I think will be its downfall. Still a great song though but shouldn't be a single over some of the others. 8/10 5. It Takes More - Wasn't overly keen at first but it's definitely been a big grower for me and I love it now. Great lyrics and vocals. 10/10 6. Watch You Go - Decent song and I really like the production. Nothing amazing though. 7/10 7. No Parade - Love the piano in this. Definitely see it as a potential single. 9/10 8. Let It Rain - This is just all kinds of amazing. I knew I'd love it after hearing the clip and the full version didn't disappoint. Her vocals are insanely good. I really hope it's a single at some point. 10/10 9. Emergency (911) - Great song. Tries to be a bit too stylistic and a few of the beeps should have been removed. I love the "clock tick tick tick" bit though. 9/10 10. Was I The Only One - Strings and piano = my perfect combo. 8/10 11. Faith - It's alright but not album-worthy IMO. Just a bit dull. 6/10 12. The Cure - Decent, nothing more. 7/10 13. Papercut - Bland. 5/10 14. Postcard - Same as above. 5/10 Great first 10 tracks, the last 4 let it down though. The two additional on the deluxe edition are not great and Vertigo should have at least replaced one of them. I still think this album is a step in the right direction for Jordin as an artist though and it has much more personality than her debut which I got bored of very quickly with the exception of a few songs. July 14, 200916 yr Near to the end of listening to the album, it's amazing so far, but it isn't as good as her debut.
