kylie doesnt need naked people in the video for attention. if you dont like it then tell joseph kahn, it's his video! either way, THAT band in your sig can only ever dream to have the success and be as relevant as kylie is in the music industry.

not relevant. never was. never will be.

x

There is no need to attack other people fav acts just becuase you dont think they are relevant, they obv are in their genre just like Kylie is in hers.

Not in the UK really, especially with her most recent singles.

Thats ony 1 country, Madonna is still very much one of the biggest acts out there

You're not the target audience, they're relevant to all the people who saw them in their arena tour in February and the people who loved them at the Big Weekend. I've got nothing against "All The Lovers" but all these cheap shots and pointless loonage is getting on my tits. You're failing to see the bigger picture, if her comeback single hadn't been as strong Radio 1 would have been obliged to play it anyway because it's Kylie and mentalists like yourself would have a big strop. It would have been very easy to ignore 30STM with this era, for all its greatness "A Beautiful Lie" didn't sell a huge number of copies, but R1 recognised the brilliance of "Kings & Queens" and took a punt. It's payed off and the band aren't looking back.

Radio 1 dont always support Kylies tracks. They dont always A-List her tracks but the general public seem to be respondig to it and its a very radio friendly song.

i agree he keeps quoting me and putting kylie down. i havent said 1 thing to him unless it was responding to him!

probably did. wonder how much money they make from their music though. not much lol

Actually they would... all the money made by acts is done by touring these days as any sensible soul will tell you. It's like saying Pendulum have never sold more than 400k of an album so they should go and become binmen, complete crap.

Oh and US (ie. the biggest music buying market in the world) chart positions:

Kylie Minogue - X - 139

30 Seconds to Mars - This Is War - 18 (certified gold for 500k sales)

I beg to differ, you started mentioning 30STM when the rest of us were having a sensible iTunes-related conversation.

lol you dont have to tell me kylie isnt successful in America, it's common knowledge. what was their highest charting album over there btw?

This Is War. Got to platinum, same as "Fever" which is by far Kylie's biggest hit there. I was merely responding to your claim 30STM don't make any money

Noone said anything about America. Then again since you mentioned it. kylie did have a top 3 platinum album

Kylies Fever was #3 with over 1 million sales. just natural honey xxxxx

My mistake, "A Beautiful Lie", which got to #36, was certified platinum. "This Is War" peaked at #18 but is already gold.

We are getting away from the point about Kylie being relevant. She is very relevant in Europe esp the UK. Just like Madonna is very relevant on a worldwide scale
I think All the Lovers soungs like Somebody to Love. When they both first started getting airplay, I got confused between the two of them often.
Didn't Kylie recently sell out a bunch of US tours? Js.

She probably did, I apologise for going off topic but I was merely responding to a short-sighted post related to the band in my sig. Apologies.

should be higher, one of the best songs of the year

I think it's doing exceedingly well so far, at the weekend I began to doubt it would even go top 10 because of the immense competition.
