But how can you say shirt-pulling is not a foul? It prevents a player moving and may lead to him going over. That's a foul in my book.

If you thought that was a penalty then there would be half a dozen penalties per match.

Shirt pulling has been part and parcel of football since its infancy in the 19th century.

I guess you'd much rather applaud the artistry of the Italian who got the penalty (& a point) today, that I regard as a far greater problem in football:

I regard football as a contact sport; not a sport for prima donna actors.

Great game between Brazil and I.C., Kaka was sent off for elbowing truly deserved.
Keita's reaction was disgraceful, but the Brazilians deserved it I think because they'd been doing that all night long. By far the worst team for gamesmanhip, absolutely dreadful.

Couldn't believe Keita, absolutley disgusting. But Kaka still deserved to go, because he still elbowed him off the ball :heehee:

But yeah, memories of this anyone?

It should be a penalty. Shirt pulling like that should not be allowed but all too often players get away with it. A good decision from the ref again at this World Cup.

Agree about shirt pulling. Do we know if it's actually allowed according to the FIFA rules? Here is a pulling moment from the Algeria game.

:o Didn't know that. Was that match shown live in North Korea I wonder? ;)

I love how this world cup has so unpredictable. You just can't call it.

Yeah and hope it's the same in the knockouts with some big surprises.

TAKE THAT, KIM JONG-IL!

But I hope the Korean players will not be tortured afterwards...

For what I've known, North Korean TV is only allowed to show the NK goals.

And it was revealed that the NK supporters in the game against Brazil were chinese!

Yes I read it's said to be live but the NK people don't realise there's a delay so they can edit out any goals against them. You can bet the score is fiddled too. :(

Also yes they paid lots of Chinese actors to support them. :naughty:

Group H is still wide open, I can see Switzerland winning the group when they play Honduras, Spain or Chile might be playing Brazil in the last 16, personally Spain haven't played their best yet, they missed a lot of chances in the match against Honduras. But for some reason I fancy Brazil and Spain match it could be entertaining to watch.

The only countries that have impressed me so far... are Argentina, Portugal and Germany. England really need to buck up, I can see them drawing against Slovenia on Wednesday, and drawing lots is more painful than watching penalties, I wish they just have a re-match to sort it all out, surely you could fit a match before the last 16 starts, better than drawing lots.
