The groups are much better than what they usually are. Rather liked the girlband, the cheap Glee rip-offs, the boyband that did Forever Is Over and the guys who actually managed to sing Fight For This Love in tune for once!

Forever Is Over is my least favourite Sats song but the boyband made it sound less generic somehow :o Not so Kelly Clarkson b-side ish. And I can see that particular boyband developing into more of an E.M.D. type/Swedish type group as opposed to something like the Wanted. One member actually quite looked like the singer Ola.

The boyband craze never died out in other countries. As long as they have some personality and character, I'm quite happy to have them around. I just don't like stools singing generic cover ballads i.e. Westlife. This was #1 in Sweden when I was there last year and could easily be huge for The Wanted or someone, maybe even a boyband graduating from this year's X Factor (there will obviously be one or two in the final in the light of the resurgence in popularity);

 

 

Definitely one of my favourite contemporary boyband songs. If the music's as good as this (in my opinion), there's no reason for them not to exist in the charts.

Ratter gutted Simon stopped Anastacia singing Proud Mary. She wasnt singing it very well but I was rather enjoying it - Proud Mary is just all sorts of brilliance. I liked her though, even if she is destined to become Rachel Hylton II if she makes live shows.

 

Dissapointing episode though, Cheryl didnt die, the guest judge didnt annoy everyone and therefore wasnt brilliant, no one got the $h!t beat out of them, Ireland let everyone down by actually producing someone with talent etc etc

But her voice wasnt strong enough, as for Hannah :wub:, she should re-audition! Anastacia was great at her second song :D

Mary was great- sadly, I know how its going to go- she wont connect with the public and will finish around 8th :(

 

Matt was good- I can see him being a finalist, The Reason were very good too- best group so far

 

Rebecca was very average imo

 

Annastacia was good, but not great- cant see her doing much tbh

 

oh and Katy Perry was a great judge :D

Anyone notice it was a different episode to the planned one? It was meant to be Nicole Scherzinger. I presume they couldn't show it as they said no more autotune and had to re-edit that episode.

I'd read that Natalie Imbruglia was on tonight's one in Birmingham or something, according to What's On TV :lol: You're probably right, there'd have been uproar if they put on another auto tuned episode.

Anyone saw ITV2 with the kid at the end, it was a cringe fest trying to watch it.

Just finished watching as I went out and all I can say is FUKKIN HELL :o @ Mary, that was one of the best auditions I have EVER seen, spine chilling
