How ridiculous forcing them to sing them songs when their style could be completely different.

I just can't imagine Mary singing Poker Face.....

edit: She was good at it! She put her own twist on it too....

Poor Tobias :(

How exactly? She was amazing during that - which only proves why she is favourite to win (whether she's gotten to judge's homes or not - please do not spoil it)...

Chloe was hilarious, but her version of the song was good anyway. :)

That Chloe....

On one hand she does have amazing talent....

but on the other I can't help but feel bad for those that tryed really hard and didn't make it while she just waltz in halfway through the rehearsals.

If she did make it to the final 12 I'm not sure if she'd get public support.....she might be like Rachel Hylton and get through a few weeks on her voice alone.

That said Rachel Hylton was much nicer than Chloe

Chloe was surprisingly good, a lot of power to her voice there

Wasn't impressed with Cher at all

I have no inside info as to whether she gets through or not tbh

I think Cher is definitely more in her element when singing songs like what she sang in her audition.

With a big power ballad I don't think she stood out very much, I still like her though.

More R+B wigga stuff, she is coming across as a one trick pony tbh, really has to move out of her comfort zone if she is to win the series, won't be able to sing R+B every week, she is good at R+B but I can't stand the genre

Mary won't be able to sing powerful ballads every week either. And she's certainly not a one trick pony. From Keri Hilson to Coldplay - couldn't be further from a one trick pony?!

Cher proving her versatility there I think, she'd be the sort of person I'd love to see every week on the live shows, because you know she'd bring something completely different to the table.

The boyband singing Party In The USA made me realise quite how much I despise the song  Loving these renditions of Creep though!

I really liked Cher's performance, but I think the singing was far better than the rap. :P

Hardly different from Mary, though (Tom Jones, Lady Gaga). If Cher can do a song without making it sound the same every week (ie. R&B) then I'll be surprised. Both are very good in their own rights, but Mary needs to prove she can do an upbeat number, and Cher needs to prove she can do something other than "wigga" R&B.

LOL agree there, she isn't that bad at singing although wouldn't say she is in the same ballpark as katie or Treyc or Mary or anyone but she isn't a bad singer as such but that rap was car crash tv

She needs to up her game though, she seems to have some identity crisis, thinks she is black

That was amazing! Anyone know what version that was?

My whole living room just went silent as Cher started rapping 'Viva La Vida', but when she started singing it was great - yet another reason to add to the list of why she should win!
I love Chloe one moment and then hate her the next. It's so frustrating. :(
