You forgot about the dozen of Girls Aloud live performances :kink:

And especially on tour, she has proven to be a massive entertainer and a great singer on tour, live DVDs are here to prove it :)

Problem I think is that she can't really sing her songs this era. or at least FFTL certainly, it really doesn't seem a good fit for a voice at all.

 

I think the first demo for it was leaked in 2006 or '07, so it's been around for a while. It seems they picked it up for her as a quick cash-in thanks to her marriage problems (and now it's become very ironic for the very same reason!)

 

Same with other songs on the album - all are either old demos, rejects or covers (DTATL) that had been around for years.

 

Hopefully with album number two they'll take their time and record/write songs for her and, more importantly, her voice, like with Girls Aloud. She can sing (admittedly not amazing, but she can hold a tune for sure), she's shown that with Girls Aloud. She just needs the right material.

Really? Is there anywhere we can hear these old demos? I must admit that FFTL sounds more 2006-7 than right now, still like it a lot though, though i seems weird to me that there's a "miming" track which is recorded to sound like a live vocal, it's a bit misleading really.

The reason she has a Miming track is because she cant sing good and dance at the same time.

As for live miming track, quite a few artists do it. To be honest I think if an artist is going to mime it's good they at least put a bit of "effort" into the backing track instead of just miming to the autotuned studio version.

If you could read properly, you would've seen I mentionned TOUR DVDS so I was obviously referring to the 5 Girs Aloud DVDs featuring lots and lots of live Chezza epic moments. -_- She's great on stage. And I went to the BEPs too and her vocals were pretty fine. :wub:

I have to disagree. Her vocals are not great at all. She s a very weak singer . She could bearly sing Parachute properly in the Live Lounge

You have your opinion about her abilities on stage, I have mine. She's the one to live up the GA tours the most, even if Nadine has a strongest voice. Her vocals are more than alright, she's a great dancer and a born entertainer.

But this is an endless debate of opinions I guess so we better end it here. :)
