June 25, 201015 yr Most of Katy Perry's sales are on downloads, her physicals must be very low, to enter at #3. I'm still surprised seeing Boyzone top 10 in the physicals. :o
June 25, 201015 yr Good to see Diana doing well on pre-orders already- theres a chance it could be another top 10 hit for her :)
June 25, 201015 yr Most of Katy Perry's sales are on downloads, her physicals must be very low, to enter at #3. I'm still surprised seeing Boyzone top 10 in the physicals. :o Physical sales aren't big these days unless they're acts with a big fanbase like Kylie or someone, but I imagine both 'Shout' and K'naan to be quite big in physical terms (well, for physicals these days anyway).
June 25, 201015 yr Author The Top 75 lowdown...thus compiled by our friends at DTR, with the top 40 based on a mingling of physicals & downloads & the 41-75 entire downloads for that little bit ahead feel. Just before we start, I must dedicate the chart to Mark Goodier...while doing his show on Smooth Radio this morning he made such a hysterical error! Infact I fell off my bar stool. Our old friend Mark was talking about that classic film "Psycho". Apparently the main character in this film was called Simon Bates! Some error Mark! :o We now await the re-working of the Plan B album, as "The Defamation Of Simon Bates" then! Top 75 EXAMPLE - WTSCU Top 70 OASIS - SCYHO ENGLAND/NEW ORDER FAT LES Top 60 RIHANNA - RB SFG 24) KELIS 23) DRAKE JOURNEY BLACK EYED PEAS 22) LADY GAGA - BR 21) PRETTY RECKLESS 20) LISSIE GLEE - ANYWAY YOU WANT IT etc Top 50 50 RE MEMORIES - DAVID GUETTA 49 NE PRAYIN - PLAN B 48 RE WON'T GO QUIETLY - EXAMPLE 19) 47 41 EMPIRE STATE OF MIND II - ALICIA KEYS 46 46 NEED YOU TONIGHT - PROFESSOR GREEN 18) 45 42 BABY - JUSTIN BIEBER 44 33 DON'T STOP BELIEVIN - GLEE 43 30 OVER THE RAINBOW - GLEE 42 37 GOOD TIME - ROLL DEEP 17) 41 NE WE NO SPEAK AMERICANO - MARCO CALLIARI 40 38 TELEPHONE - LADY GAGA/BEYONCE 15) 39 31 TENDERONI - KELE 38 24 3 LIONS - BADDIEL SKINNER LIGHTNING SEEDS 14) 37 40 I LIKE - KERI HILSON 36 25 SOLO - IYAZ 35 34 PASS OUT - TINIE TEMPAH 34 22 DIRTEE DISCO - DIZZEE RASCAL 33 36 SHE'S ALWAYS A WOMAN - FYFE DANGERFIELD 32 28 HEY SOUL SISTER - TRAIN 13) 31 39 WAKA WAKA - SHAKIRA 30 23 STEREO LOVE - EDWARD AND VIKA 12) 29 29 SHE SAID - PLAN B 11) =20 28 19 CANDY - AGGRO SANTOS & KIMBERLY WYATT 27 20 WE DANCE ON - N-DUBZ 26 NE SHUTTERBUG - BIG BOI 25 26 CAN`T BE TAMED - MILEY CYRUS 10) 24 17 TE AMO - RIHANNA 23 21 ALL NIGHT LONG - ALEXANDRA BURKE 9) =19 22 12 TURN IT UP - PIXIE LOTT =18 21 NE HELLO GOOD MORNING - DIDDY & CO 20 15 TRY SLEEPING - ALICIA KEYS =16 19 14 YOUR LOVE IS MY DRUG - KESHA =17 18 13 NOTHIN ON YOU - B.O.B/BRUNO MARS 8) =14 17 16 EENIE MEENIE - SEAN & JUSTIN =15 16 27 AIRPLANES - B.O.B./HAYLEY WILLIAMS 15 11 OMG - USHER =13 14 07 DANCING ON MY OWN - ROBYN 7) =11 13 18 COMMANDER - KELLY ROWLAND =12 12 09 RIDIN SOLO - JASON DERULO =9 11 NE FIRE WITH FIRE - SCISSOR SISTERS 6) =10 10 08 GETTIN OVER YOU - DAVID GUETTA =8 09 NE LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE - EMINEM & RIHANNA 08 05 FRISKY - TINIE TEMPAH 5) =7 07 10 ALEJANDRO - LADY GAGA 06 04 ALL THE LOVERS - KYLIE =6 05 06 NOT AFRAID - EMINEM 5) =5 04 03 KICK STARTS - EXAMPLE 4) =4 03 01 SHOUT FOR ENGLAND - DIZZEE RASCAL & JAMES CORDEN 3) =3 02 02 WAVIN`FLAG - K`NAAN 2) =2 01 NE CALIFORNIA GURLS - KATY PERRY & THE DOGG 1) =1 ) Position without downloads alone = Position on Chart Show tv Katy and Snoop pull it off. Don`t forget to join Jason Scott on http://www.thesuperstation.info on Sunday to stay ahead with the chart with those new entries before the rest, and the complete top 40 at 4pm, or if you can`t wait until then, listen tomorrow at 12pm on WCR FM on the net & you can hear it a whole day before everyone else! Don`t forget Richard Todd`s Retro Chart on Sunday at 2pm on Atlantic Oldies 2ng for a look at that sizzling hot Summer of June 1976, that of course also via the net.
June 25, 201015 yr Thanks Dave How near are Scissor Sisters to the top 10? Really expected them to be top physical this week.
June 25, 201015 yr Author Thanks Dave How near are Scissor Sisters to the top 10? Really expected them to be top physical this week. Not close. Infact they may well go the other way by Sunday & Jason Derulo could be 11.
June 25, 201015 yr Author This is very random in the TV ratings :D 04 NE URUGUAY V FRANCE 7.32 Did you know there are more people from Uruguay in the UK, than French people?! :teresa:
June 25, 201015 yr Author I dunno. It`s a cover of D Cup, yep? Although the D Cup version is number 36 on the Play.com download chart.

June 26, 201015 yr I predict that Scissor Sisters could possibly climb into the top 10 next week with people cherrypickin from the album
June 26, 201015 yr I dunno. It`s a cover of D Cup, yep? Although the D Cup version is number 36 on the Play.com download chart. Yeah, fake version of Yolanda Be Cool/DCUP song. I was wondering if you knew anything regarding if Marco Calliari is considered a 'genuine' artist (which lead to fake versions of I Kissed A Girl, Run, Love Story, Riverside, When Love Takes Over, Sexy Bitch and Nothin' On You to chart)
June 26, 201015 yr Three football matches in the top 5 ratings :o Dave, do you know anything regarding the amount of German & Australian people in the UK? :kink:
June 26, 201015 yr Yeah, fake version of Yolanda Be Cool/DCUP song. I was wondering if you knew anything regarding if Marco Calliari is considered a 'genuine' artist (which lead to fake versions of I Kissed A Girl, Run, Love Story, Riverside, When Love Takes Over, Sexy Bitch and Nothin' On You to chart) He does seem to be sort of genuine. There's a proper video for his version on YouTube, and he seems to have recorded other songs. This version originates from Canada. But the question is, have Yolanda's label asked for it to be excluded? Actually I like the way it uses more of the original song, although the production isn't as good.

We've been through this before. Records cannot be excluded by a record company without a good reason, and they certainly can't stop another record company's releases. The only way these releases don't chart is because they have not registered with the OCC In this particular case Marco Calliara recorded the song back in 2006, its only now that they have remixed it in simlar style to Yolanda etc Edited June 26, 201015 yr by ManicKangaroo

The name Marco Calliari though, is the name of a duo. They originate from Sicily. They did a few pieces of film music. I used to use one of their titles, as a theme on a Radio drop I used to do.
