As per normal and after a few listens of my semi final - literally have no idea….

One thing I find fascinating about Italy’s success is that for a contest that celebrates individuality and is very popular with the queer community, Italy as a country is quite conservative.

It does feel really unfair that every year Germany and Uk get destroyed by the public vote, yet Italy seem to benefit. Sometimes they have sent great songs but I cannot find much in this years song I’d go as far as to say the three countries could send the same songs, sung in the same way and Italy would still get a three figure score, with the other two getting nout

Justice for Estonia (but still get them vocal lessons)

FFS so my personal fave Estonia would have qualified over Sweden and Belgium (Comfortably) on a public vote! This is why you need competent singers….

Was the hype a poisoned chalice? I never saw the hype myself but I can see why people like it I did like the Sweden song but I'm kind of glad it underperformed. I just wish Italy had underperformed as well

Was behind by over an hour so kept off of here. Shame Delta didn't win the jury vote - but what a great public vote for her Bulgaria coming out of nowhere is an amazing story - but two years in a row where the contest has been saved..... And I am not surprised Finland did a Sweden
