Hmm, im not sure about this one. I liked Caoimhe for the first few weeks and I thought there was potential for her to benefit when Shabby left, she'd no longer be the not-quite-lesbian cling-on and would be able to intergrate a lot more.

With the Corin issue, I certainly and probably most people who dislike Caoimhe are not disliking John, Josie etc because they only seem to be bitching about Corin when Caoimhe's around. Caoimhe is basically the instigator of all of this, and whilst Corin and Caoimhe certainly werent the best of friends in the past, Caoimhe certainly had never made it obvious of her dislike. In short, from what is being shown it appears Caoimhe seems to spend a large amount of time going from housmeate to housemate bitching about her, whenever any Corin bashing takes place, Caoimhe seems to be at the heart of it.

The Dave issue is a lot more complicated. If anything I agree more with what Caoimhe's saying and since im not a fan of Dave by any means I wont partically defend him that much, the sooner he leaves the better. Had Caoimhe questioned him when Dave was actually talking about religion then I could perhaps understand a bit better but I feel that it was again just an example of Caoimhe's causing trouble yet again.

I certainly dont think it would be horrific if Caoimhe stayed a few more weeks, on the condition that when she would leave to a chorus of boos. Scheming, bitching and backstabbing are always 3 brilliant qualities in housemates and are three things Caoimhe does rather brilliantly, if she stopped moaning she could actually become a bit more likeable.

What worries me really though is how she seems to be gaining in populairy. This time last week forums like DS were full of people who wanted her out. But these people have now turned their attention to the shouty but dim Nathan, the gossipy but likeable Ife and Corin - who seems to be the target of peoples hatred now purely because thats what Caoimhe told them to do.

Oh. Yeah sorry for the essay

While I agree that Caoimhe bashes Corin, I wouldn't agree with the point that she's more or less telling others how to think. It was only when Caoimhe aired her views then so did JJ etc. Ife actually caused the whole Shabby-Caoimhe awkwardness in the first place, which then led to the drift between Shabby and Caoimhe, which then led to Nathangate/Shabby leaving. I can understand Caoimhe's dislike for Ife completely, especially after what Ife said in the Diary Room. Corin is a different situation because I think she gets on people's nerves (she's getting on mine too). I don't think Caoimhe would have a problem if Corin actually disliked somebody or didn't sit on the fence and try to like everybody. Nobody can like everyone, which is my main gripe with Dave and Corin. They have people that they dislike and I rather they just admitted it like Caoimhe/JJ etc.

I agree that Caoimhe does question Dave's views at random moments, but it's his whole act that he loves everyone which gets on my nerves (and obviously Caoimhe's too). Caoimhe is seriously critical of religion (especially the Catholic Church in Ireland - most people here are) so I can see her annoyance when Dave continuously talks about how God is his drug or whatever. :o

wow! 89%, that's harsh. deserved though. :D

That wasnt surprising, but that was far more easier to predict than the female evictions

89% of the vote apparently :o

I can understand why people hate him, but I did actually grow new respect for him this week

I don't understand how he's THAT hated to be honest.

i dont think he is hated i just think people wanted John to stay more.

I don't understand how he's THAT hated to be honest.

I can. he was nasty and wound't stop the swearing.

First impressions:

Keeley- Not sure really, could go either way

Andrew- seems quite likeable, hope he doesnt turn into this years Luke

Rachel- Seems OK, similar to Corin

Liking the two girls in particular, Keeley in particular seems quite amazing. Rachel seems a bit too similar to Corin/Josie in some respects but very likeable all the same. The guy seems nice but with potential to be very annoying.
Rachel is my favourite of the three, absolutely love her. Keeley looks like she could be quite good too, give Caoimhe a run for her money - Andrew just seems a bit pointless in all honesty.

I like the new housemates, Andrew seems like he'll be funny....and Keeley should be interesting too.

Rachael.....could go either way...she's ok I guess
