Posted June 24, 201015 yr It's all practically chill-out music nowadays. Where has the euphoria of ten years ago gone? It's all pleasant, tastefully produced and swamped with female vocalists. I'm basing all this on the last few Trance Nation compilations - the Above and Beyond one from last year and a few others Can someone give me some examples of some with heavier riffs that really make you go mental on the dance floor? I hope I'm wrong.
June 24, 201015 yr Sander van Doorn makes really energic trance music this is one of his best tracks zbLC-0P8cm0

November 20, 201014 yr I always loved the basslines of trance but the songs would lose me on the 2 minute overly drawn out "euphoric" build ups. Especially when it would take 2 minutes to build up and when it finally crashed into the beat it more often then not was a bit of a let down. Maybe i just need to hear it on louder speakers. Straight techno for me though
