I've heard the album a few times but I wouldnt say its the best album she has ever done. Its not a bad album and a big improvement on X but alot of it sounds the same.

I don't think it's as good as X personally. Maybe I have to listen to it some more but it's decent enough so far...

Whaaaat? It's much better than X, she's right when she said this album is more "song-centered" than X; a lot of production went into X, too much in places.
LOL at the two members that said 20k, she has practically done that in a day and more.

I'd say the album overall has more quality than X but it's not as instant, though it doesn't have the "big stompers" of which X had a few of.

Kylie's on course to be the first female (correct me if I'm wrong) to have 4 #1 albums in consecutive decades - 80's, 90's, 00's and 10's - equalling Cliff Richard and The Rolling Stones (Elvis also has 4 but its not consecutive)

5 #1 albums if we're being technical. :P

I think 78k first week sales :)

probably around 640k in the long run x

I agree completely . I really like the album but after 4 listens still feel a bit underwhelmed.

I expected her to do around 40 K, but 80k-ish is awesome!
Anyone who voted for one of the first three choices are in with a shout of being correct, ay who picked lower will have definitly preeicted wrong according to the sales she has so far.

However, her only 90s #1 album was a greatest hits album, rather than a studio album (and before anyone suggests otherwise, although Enjoy Yourself had a minor resurgence at the start of 1990, it only made it back to #2.)

It doesn't matter if it was a greatest hits or a studio album, it is still considered to be a number 1 album and it is counted as such!

We are not saying here that she had 4 n1 studio albums in 4 different decades, we are saying she has 4 n1 albums in 4 different decades, and 5 technically!

At least she'll be #1 with a respectable amount of sales, unlike another recent blonde female pop singer... :P

And if you're gonna be like that - then Abba - who are also on 4 consecutive decades - 70's, 80's 90's and 00's then the 90's and 00's don't count as that was Abba Gold -which scored its 00's in 2008

ABBA haven't had a UK #1 album in the 00's

79,153 copies sold so those people who predicted 60-79k got it right. :P

Which was 2.4x her Tuesday figure, so we might have to rethink those extrapolation factors. :P
