Why oh why would Professor Green going to No 1 be better than JLS.Just be Good to Me is a Soul classic that has been butchered by Chavvy Green.

An instrumental version with just Lily Allen on the chorus would be ok :lol:

It really shouldn't be compared to the 1984 'SOS Band' original.

 

Professor Green's track is essentially the 1990 'Beats International' version with his awful rapping over it :lol:

I like it too, I'm a fan of Lily Allen as well, so the fact that she's on the track makes it even better for me! ^_^

A song can be chavvy even if some of the people who like it aren't chavs. I used to love and still like Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' - it's as chavvy as hell but i'm the complete opposite of a chav. More a hippy if anything. :lol:

 

I think these songs and the artists just set a bad example. Take a look at NDubz. There will be loads of weak-minded, easily-influenced teenagers imitating and dressing like them. It's sad and I really don't like the way society is going and I think music is partly to blame. :(

Her tour has had such a positive response. Some reviewers have even compared her to Beyonce! :o Bit of an exaggeration though. :lol:

 

I've just been listening to Shontelle's 'Impossible' and I love the song but I can't help but be cynical and assume the label are trying to create the next 'Unfaithful' - one of Rihanna's biggest selling songs before her major breakthrough.

Beyonce is an incredible talent but tbf she was lucky to have a father like Matthew (despite being a cheat -_-) who manages her and paid for her dance lessons etc. Still, she's the best entertainer in the world atm imo - now that MJ has passed.

He also used to make her dance around the house in heels, whilst singing, to build her vocal stamina. I suppose it was a good thing! :kink: And yeah definitely, nobody can match Beyoncé in performing live.
