August 12, 201014 yr I heard “Cloudbusting” on ‘Absolute 80s’ last night and for the first time ever, I thought that the production on the song actually reminded me of ‘Tango In The Night’ era Fleetwood Mac [especially “Big Love”]. Loz
August 15, 201014 yr A Kate Bush rate perchance? oh yes please!! though i don't think 90% of buzzjack appreciate her greatness so there wont be many people rating :(
August 15, 201014 yr It would be done in here or indie/alternative but could be advertised in Pop and the Lounge. Actually put it in pop - maybe the pop lovers might take notice of her. Edited August 15, 201014 yr by Sinner
August 18, 201014 yr I was playing Marina and the Diamonds in the car today.... my work colleague thought it sounded like 'the love child of Kate Bush and Lene Lovich'.... she's not far off, I don't think.
August 18, 201014 yr I wouldn't say there's a bad track on The Dreaming at all. I think the title track is great. Weakest track would be All The Love for me - too ordinary but it's still great. As pointed out already, Night Of The Swallow is outstanding and certainly among her most accomplished pieces Since somebody mentioned this in another thread I just had to watch this again I'd forgotten just how spot on this was/is SMXIro1P_7g& Haven't seen that for many years. Note the mention of the Fibonacci sequence so they almost pre-empted the song about pi.
