Hey guys

I have been thinking if the third LP will be released in 2011, that could give the girls enough time to release another track from Headlines, and then maybe another single before the release... that would bring their singles tally to 10. I think if that is the case, the third album will be a Greatest Hits and include a few new songs.

Girls Aloud had a lot more success after their greatest hits and maybe the Saturdays are plotting a similar thing....

10 *first single of 2011*

11 New Single

12 Bonus Track

That would be an odd choice after two albums... only the Stone Roses have done the same as far as I know, or maybe Joy Division
Releasing a GH after just 3 years would be ridicolous. And releasing GH early on a career is something that really annoys me tbh. There wouldnt be any point.

...and Hilary Duff.

:D

On the matter in hand, this would be ridiculous.

'Headlines' is their third album.

Mini or not, they are referring to it as the third album.

Besides, isn't this jumping the gun a little? Let's get 'Headlines' out of the way first!

They've said themselves that 'Headlines' is to just to fill in the gap whilst they work on their next album. This is just an mini-album sort of thing, not a full album. The whole things a bit of a mess already tbh. However they made the right choice doing this EP.

i know i know im just thinking with ten singles under their belts they could release one?... maybe if they do a normal #3 they might make the 2012 record a GH
Without trying to sound to negative i think alot depends on headlines, if this album doesnt do well i cant see another album coming from them as i feel they could possibly be dropped if it doesnt sell. However if the album does well i think they need to follow up with a strong studio album and build on the momentum if all that worked and did well then they may consider a greatest hits, As it stand sits far to early for a greatest hits.
A greatest hits would be a ridiculous idea. They havent enough tracks for a full CD yet and it wouldnt sell well.

I agree. I think they'd need to be around for a few more years before a greatest hits album is even considered.
