I loved her Battlefield album and the first one. Just wondered if anybody has any news on what she is upto at the moment and whether there are any plans for a 3rd album?

Loads of Jordin Sparks Tracks have leaked recently. I dont know if they are from recording sessions from a new album or Battlefield leftovers

Oh god are we gonna get like a gazzilion JSparks threads now? I think theres already like 5 threads on the 3rd album

i didn't love the second album, but there is something about jordin that i really like, and i hope she does well in future...

Anyway, Jordin's currently preparing to play the role of Nina in In The Hieghts on Broadway in New York. She's signed up to play the role for the next 3 months, and after that who knows what she'll do. She's recently said she has no plans to record a 3rd album yet, but early next year possibly. I have every faith in her releasing a 3rd album and I don't believe that broadway will kill her career, I think she just needs to change management because it seems a Mr Kevin Jonas Snr is putting all his hard work and effort into his lovely 3 songs and a Miss Lovato.

It's a shame the second album did so poorly, as there were some really good songs on it, i would of loved to have seen Walking On Snow and No Parade released as singles. I'm still suprised SOS flopped in the US, radio have always supported her songs and SOS was really catchy, im not sure why it never caught on. Oh well, i hope that whenever she decides to do a third album there will be something on it to help it become a success.

Jordin has posted on Facebook: 'Are you ready for some new music?'. And apparently she filmed a music video a couple of weeks ago, so it looks like she might be releasing a new single soon.

 

I'm very excited for thus as I have loved both her albums so far, especially Battlefield :D

YES! Jordin Sparks is one of my fave albums ever, and Battlefield is amazing too! Can't wait! :dance:

Aah. Whilst her previous two albums were a bit patchy, I've loved all her singles thus far; so this should be a very good! ^_^

I'm going to see if I can find any more info :D I wasn't sure whether to put this in Pop or R&B as she's kinda both but I decided R&B so I hope that's ok :)

 

I cant remember where I read about the music video, so I hope I didn't dream it :P

Ignoring how much of a prat of herself she made at the VMA's once I've always liked Jordin. 'No Air' doesnt sound quite as amazing as it did back in the day, and neither does most of the first album. But 'Battlefield' (the song) was an amazing pop record so I'm looking forward to this.

Didnt she kinda bomb last time in the US? Hoping for better things this time round. Loved the second album though, I remember being obsessed with 'Emergancy' and 'Watch You Go'

Battlefield was my most played song until Diana's album came along :D I absolutely loved it, but overplayed it slightly :P now I haven't listened to it in a while, it sounds brilliant again :)

I heard she's currently working with John Legend :)

 

I can't wait, Jordin is great. Tatoo and No Air both were my number ones. Battlefield was amazing, too- well, just Ryan :)

Yeah it did really poorly, just over 100k I believe.

 

This is make or break for her really, same with Leona I imagine!

I'll look forward to this. I like both of her first two albums.

Yessss, cant wait to hear new Jordin music. :D I really hope her third album era is a success, she has got a gorgeous voice, Battlefield should have done so much better.

She always comes up with something good, so I look forward to hearing it.

 

'Freeze' is still by far and away her best song, it still pains me that was stupidly overlooked as a single.

She is the type of artist that is pop/r&b so I wasn't sure which category to put it in :)
