Billionaire is up to #45!

I'm happy that Yolanda/DCUP are up to #2. I love the Eminem song, but We No Speak Americano is just so catchy!!

Ah, Billionaire is just on a compilation, not the official release, so it'll likely be removed

I thought Billionaire wasnt out until the 25th- guess they released it early

Im expecting this to be a massive number 1 either next week or this week,

edit: likely be the week of the 26th then

the fact its already here despite only being on a compilation shows massive it will be

If Billionaire is out on Sunday, I doubt they'd bother removing it, but I think it's out later on, so yes, it's quite likely that it'll be removed.

It probably will get an early release on Sunday I'd expect.

This high compilation version is surely a good sign - then again, We No Speak Americano appeared on compilations and went top 40 on iTunes twice and top 100 a third time, and that only débuted at #5 (granted, a lot of sales also went into a fake version which charted top 30 officially, and it (the real version :P) will climb this week)

I reckon that they will just keep the Billionaire release date after they delete the compliation version, isn't too far away anyway :P. So released this Sunday will be Basshunter, Jedward, Usher ft Pitbull and the EP's for Pendulum, Diana Vickers and Scouting for Girls. I can see them all going top 40 but only Basshunter really troubling anything. Here are my early predictions :kink::

Basshunter - #10

Jedward - #30

Diana Vickers - #32

Usher ft Pitbull - #34 (will rise OMG style and can even see it hitting #01 at some stage)

Scouting For Girls - #37

Pendulum - #38.

If Billionaire is number one at any time this year it instantly becomes the best number one so far this decade. FACT.

Jedward will go top 10 I reckon, I know there's no buzz at all but I can just see it making T10 anyway... I'm probz wrong though.

Basshunter won't do much. Top 20 at best.

I think that's overly optimistic predicting top 10 for Basshunter. I think he's more likely to be low top 40.

My predictions:

Basshunter (no. 35)

Jedward (no. 6 - it'll probably go to no. 1 in Ireland)

Diana Vickers (no. 27 - disappointing following a no. 1 will be lucky to make top 20)

Usher ft Pitbull (no. 24 - perhaps th success of OMG will sell this track? Song will get a sales boost once the music video goes into circulation)

Scouting For Girls (no. 39 - another poor performance following up a no. 1 with a song lucky to make the top 40)

Pendulum (no. 42 - think this will chart the lowest)

Bought a £15 iTunes gift card today, the first time my account has ever had money on it, and thus the first time I've actually bought a download - "Airplanes" :D

I'll still download illegally when songs first hit the internet, but I think I'll continue to get iTunes gift cards and purchase my favourite songs legally when they are released, just to help them out

Or pessimistic, depending on how you look at it.

Don't you think that's quite unfair. If you want a song, you should appreciate it enough to buy it.

Didn't I just say that I'm going to start to purchase more music legally?

Correction, In Ireland yes it will go to #1 ^_^ In Britain hopefully not top 10 :P

Yes but you should have done before. :P

At least you'll be making up for it now. :P

Mike Posner's Cooler Than Me is on that compilation too. Watch out for that later on in the year, will be huge. If they leave that on iTunes for the duration then it will start rising eventually.

More likely the whole compilation will be taken off though, I never understand how they end up on there in the first place  Looks like a US version of a Now type album featuring their current big hits.

Jumping on the band wagon here is my predictions...

Basshunter - #05

Jedward - #29

Diana Vickers - #18

Usher ft Pitbull - #33

Scouting For Girls - #17

Pendulum - #25

I hope that eventually DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love reaches top 3.

If we're looking at the same compilation, it has "Dynamite" on it as well. That's another future hit in the making which could start rising in the not too distant future if left on there.

I agree that Usher's song probably won't chart very well, but will climb over time. Most artists wait until the stage where their song is so popular that it peaks on the first week. Usher, yet again, is going against the trend, and releasing his songs early. But it didn't stop OMG from being a roaring success, so I guess his new song can be too. I find it a bit generic, but I think, for this reason, it will be more well-received by the general public. I suppose popular songs have to be generic to a certain extent. If a song is of a really obscure genre, which is liked by about 30 people in the country, it just can't be popular, even if it is really good.
