August 7, 201014 yr Author 23 Wake Up America 6.846 +++ 10 from Kuki Sanban --- 03s from NickF1 & Flamingo Flowers I know that you don't want to hear it Especially coming from someone... so young Breakout's album tracks really are dropping like flies. This eco-anthem (which I analysed for my A-level English Language coursework - that's dedicated fandom for you!) is a fun romp with a heartfelt message at its centre and some clever lyrical moments. 22 Forgiveness & Love 6.923 +++ 09 from David --- 05s from NickF1, On Your Shore & Flamingo Flowers The story begins again and again With forgiveness and love Probably the least impressive song on Can't Be Tamed, this terribly-titled ballad certainly isn't bad or even close but it is missing a bit of the usual Miley spark. 21 Scars 7.038 +++ 09.5 from Jark --- 03 from Flamingo Flowers If I told you that I love you But I'm doing alright without you It'd be a lie But I could try Probably my third or fourth favourite on CBT, I'm a bit aggrieved to see Scars finish just outside of the top 20 but it breaks the 7.00 average barrier at least. Where the album's other uptempos are fairly electronic, often with vocoded vocals, this is much more straight-up rock-pop like a progression of the Breakout album. I've just realised actually that this is ranked the second-worst song on the album by Buzzjack. Shame on you all! 20 The Time Of Our Lives 7.231 +++ 10s from Jamieed, Lee Wallace & David --- 02s from NickF1 & Flamingo Flowers Dreamers don't care if it's right I think I'm really into you The second of two collabs with God-like pop producer Dr Luke on the EP of the same title, Time Of Our Lives is a fun, lightly-electronic ditty which for my money should've been a single if they wanted to capitalise on the success of Party In The USA, but alas. 19 Take Me Along 7.307 +++ 09s from Lee Wallace, Swagger91, Kuki Sanban & David --- 06s from Jamieed, Gooddelta & NickF1 Please don't, don't leave me here Take my hand, I'm bleeding tears This angsty, understated midtempo from Can't Be Tamed isn't anything particularly special but it finishes within the top twenty anyway, probably helped by the fact that it's the first song so far not to score lower than a 6 with anybody. Inoffensive. How do people feel about the results so far then? :o
August 7, 201014 yr I can't help but wonder why the hell I gave Full Circle only a 9. It's one of my favourite Miley songs ever! I must of been having a moment of madness
August 7, 201014 yr I love 'Time of Our Lives'. Such a fun dance tune... I think it was penned by Ke$ha. Agree 'Foregiveness & Love' being weakest from CBT.
August 7, 201014 yr Author 18 Obsessed 7.350 +++ 11 from David --- 02 from On Your Shore I just had to call you up and say hello I know it's 3AM And I saw you a while ago This gentle, formulaeic ballad from the Lives EP fared better than I'd imagined it would but I'm definitely not complaining. Oddly sweet song given the subject matter. Probably could've done better if it wasn't for everybody realising that it was not as great as Mariah's Obsessed, ie. the greatest song of 2009. *deluded* 17 The Climb 7.385 +++ 11 from Gagafan --- 03 from On Your Shore And I got to be strong Just keep pushing on Not quite half way through this countdown we meet the first of eight singles featured, and I for one am very glad for this dreadful dirge of an 'inspirational' ballad to be the first to fall. Arguably her most famous song in the UK given that it was covered by a soon-to-be-forgotten X Factor winner, but I wonder how many people genuinely like it. 16 Breakout 7.462 +++ 09s from Gagafan, Jark, Lee Wallace, Tactical & Theo --- 04 from On Your Shore These are the lessons that we choose Not a book full of things we'll never use From snore to teen-friendly lyrics galore, this upbeat anthem from Breakout proves reasonably popular with the people of Buzzjack and rightly so. A lot of people dismiss Miley's debut album as generic pop-rock fare but how many debut albums released by teenagers feature album tracks this strong? Immensely catchy. 15 Bottom Of The Ocean 7.577 +++ 11 from On Your Shore --- 01 from NickF1 I don't wanna hold you if you don't wanna tell me you love me babe Just know I'm gonna have to walk away I'll be big enough for both of us to say Be happy Shockingly you lot voted Bottom Of The Ocean as the best album track offered by Breakout; I can't say I agree at all! Like the rest of the album it's very enjoyable and perhaps her most soothing, laid-back song, but it's nothing overly special and that whispered/spoken part is unintentionally hilarious.
August 7, 201014 yr Reverse 18 to 21, and I'd nod [myheadlikeyeah :drama:] in approval of order. The lyrics of 'Bottom of the Ocean' are moving, and the production - calming. 'The Climb' has not done well, surprising given it's exposure.
August 7, 201014 yr I'm surprised 'The Climb' is this low, I thought it was one of the favourites on here.

All amazing songs! Gahhhh I LOVE YOU MILEY!
August 8, 201014 yr Oh and I've decided that Butterfly Fly Away has to be one of the greatest Miley songs ever! Shame it's on the Hannah album tbf. :(
August 8, 201014 yr Author 14 Stay 7.846 +++ 10 from Lee Wallace --- 06s from Nick F1 & Flamingo Flowers Well it's good to hear your voice I hope you're doing fine This rousing ballad from Can't Be Tamed boasts an anthemic, singalong chorus and one of Miley's finest vocals so it's not surprising that it made the top 15 in this countdown. A very understated sort of song which probably explains why it didn't receive any hatred (even Flamingo gave it a 6!). 13 Two More Lonely People 7.962 +++ 10s from Tactical, Gagafan & Lee Wallace --- 02 from Flamingo Flowers Maybe baby lately it's been a little rough But if you walk away tonight... The second US single from the same album seems to have divided opinion rather more. Personally I think it's cheerily enjoyable but the chorus doesn't really deliver - it's a bit of anti-climax. The verses with their country-fied guitar riffs and the explosive middle 8 make up for it though. 12 My Heart Beats For Love 8.000 +++ 09.5 from Jark --- 04 from Flamingo Flowers Standing here with my flag held high Can't you see that it's worth the fight? The only song of this bunch not to receive at least one 10, the Can't Be Tamed closer is an incredibly lovely midtempo and I think I might go so far as to label it her most emotional song. It was written about one of Miley's gay friends apparently which certainly gives the lyrics a bit of meaning. Pure loveliness. 11 When I Look At You 8.231 +++ 11 from Jamieed --- 02s from NickF1 & On Your Shore Everybody needs inspiration... Proving the more popular ballad single to be lifted from the Lives EP, this slow, haunting number is so fragile and beautiful that I struggle to imagine how anybody could consider it a 2/10 sort of song, but there you go. My favourite moments are the first line of the first verse and the very last line of the song.
August 8, 201014 yr When I Look At You  One of her best imo, that and because me and my best friend take the p*** out of it so it has alot of memories with it etc See You Again to win! :D
August 8, 201014 yr My response to 'Stay' wasn't as strong as it was to 'When I Look At You'. I'm glad that later is higher, very deep and you could argue her best ballad.
August 9, 201014 yr when i look at you :((U) and the climb :((U) We're wating for Liberty Walk Permanent December See You Again Fly On The Wall 7 Things Party In the usa Robot Two More Lonley People Who Owns My Heart EveryRose has its thorn
August 9, 201014 yr I want: 01. Liberty Walk 02. Who Owns My Heart 03. Permanent December 04. See You Again 05. Fly On The Wall 06. 7 Things 07. Party In the USA 08. Robot 09. Two More Lonely People 10. Every Rose Has Its Thorn I guess: 01. See You Again 02. Permanent December 03. Liberty Walk 04. Two More Lonely People 05. Fly On The Wall 06. Every Rose Has Its Thorn 07. Party In the USA 08. 7 Things 09. Robot 10. Who Owns My Heart Probably so off but there we go ^_^.
August 9, 201014 yr Author 10 7 Things 8.346 +++ 11s from Lee Wallace & Swagger91 --- 02 from NickF1 You make me laugh You make me cry But I guess that's both I'll have to buy So first up inside this largely fantastic top 10 is the second international single from Breakout, the country-infused rock-pop joint 7 Things. It might not be as frenetically upbeat as the singles which came before and after it but 7 Things is every bit as cheesy, right down to that 'surprise' final chorus where she switches her perspective on the guy in question and lists all of his best features. In my opinion there's really no arguing with a song like this - it's pure joy, a silly and completely memorable romp. 09 Every Rose Has Its Thorn 8.385 +++ 11 from Gagafan --- 06 from Theo And like a knife that cuts you the wound heals But that scar That scar remains I'm surprised to see this finish so high but it seems that unlike other songs within the top 10, Every Rose (the only cover on the Can't Be Tamed album) didn't split opinion - it received a solitary 6 and a plethora of 8s and 9s. It's a fairly uncomplicated cover version which will no doubt revolt fans of Poison's original, but I doubt Buzzjack has many of those! For me the finest moment comes courtesy of the middle 8 where Miley really lets rip and gives it her all vocally. A beautiful and relaxing song. 08 Can't Be Tamed 8.538 +++ 11s from Lee Wallace & On Your Shore --- 01 from Flamingo Flowers If you try to hold me back I might explode Baby by now you should know... Is this the ultimate grower? Quite possibly. I was so disappointed when I first listened to this but then I downloaded the album and suddenly it made complete sense. At first the lack of a proper chorus can be a bit jarring but then the bridge worms its way into your consciousness, acting as a chorus, and the actual chorus becomes a fun chant. I love trying to sing along, mostly because I'm absolutely dreadful and the 'TAMED!' bits always end up as a nasty shriek. It won't go down as a career highlight but it's still a synthy delight.
