Natasha unveiled today the title of her new album Strip Me, to be released this fall.

 

This is her 4th effort after Unwritten, N.B. and Pocketful of Sunshine.

What a stupid name. But no doubt the album's good.

I love the title, though it's quite bizarre.

Interesting title I suppose. Very much so looking forward to the album though, especially considering how great Touch was :wub:

A new track called D.I.Y. leaked, it is a nice midtempo ballad !

I guess it is and I guess it was because half of it was NB. I'm hoping we get the POS tracks in a special edition of Strip Me.

The 2nd single (also the title track) premiered on US radio recently, so I have a download link if anyone wants it or wants to start a topic as I can't be bothered. :kink:

Speechless, Strip Me, Touch and Do It Yourself (to a lesser extent) are all good songs but don't really have the wow factor that some of her older songs had (Pirate Bones, Not Giving Up, If You're Gonna... etc.)

 

I wonder if my hopes were too high.

It's the opposite for me! I love the direction she's taken! It's really what people like these days, and she still has her own sound

Agree, sadly this era doesnt seem to be making much noise, touch was good, but i can see why maybe it didnt click as the verses were a little out there, strip me the song again is good, but its not Pocketful or Unwritten good, and this new one she sang doesnt really do much for me either. I dont think this era is going to give her a big hit unfortunatley.

The lyrics don't do it for me this time. This song is rather cheesy.

 

I do feel sorry for her 'cause she deserves the succes.
