Yeah Same difference.. it's number 1 there but it's not been released on itunes yet?
I just gave Wanted a blast, not bad, kudos to them for breaking into the music business on their debut release, at least a new Brtitish boy band are getting a looking at... but they do remind me of Phixx.

So you hadn't heard it before making this comment earlier, even though it was in BJSC last month :kink:

Wanted will be the worst ever #1 of the year... actually edit that... all the #1s of 2010 are crap apart from Firefles and Airplanes.

Yeah Same difference.. it's number 1 there but it's not been released on itunes yet?

It's on pre-Order it's not released for another 33 days. If it's Number 1 out of all the tracks on 7digital and it's on pre-order..Could this actually be a future top 10 hit for them?

WOW! Really varied Top 10 at the mo!

1. All Time Low - The Wanted - Boyband Pop

2. Billionaire - Travie McCoy feat. Bruno Mars - Rap/Reggae

3. We No Speak Americano - Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup - Dance/Funk :L

4. Love The Way You Lie - Eminem feat. Rihanna - Rap with Female Vocalist

5. Airplanes - B.o.B feat. Hayley Williams - Alternative Hip Hop

6. Pack Up - Eliza Doolittle - So Modest against all these giants! - Pop?

7. California Gurls - Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dogg - Pure Pop! with rapper

8. I Need Air - Magnetic Man - Trance/Dubstep

9. Bang Bang Bang - Mark Ronson & The Business Intl feat. Q-TIP and MNDR - Retro Pop/Hip Hop

10. I Like It - Enrique Iglesias feat. Pitbull - Dance/Electro Pop.

Don't moan if you think those catagories are $hit. It's just what I think.

Ikea Mafia FTW!!!!

Ooh, I love defining genres! :kink:

All Time Low = Pop.

Billionaire = Hip-pop.

We No Speak Americano = Dance.

Love The Way You Lie = Hip-hop.

Airplanes = Alternative hip-hop.

Pack Up = Pop.

California Gurls = Pop.

I Need Air = Pop/trance. (It's not dubstep just because the artists involved are dubstep.)

Bang Bang Bang = Hip-pop.

I Like It = Electro-pop.

And just outside:

One (Your Name) = House. (The hint is in the name of the artist. :kink:)

Mikey is just fickle minded. He goes from loving a song to hating it in 10 seconds. :kink:

The iTunes chart is so bland atm!

Some interesting releases in the coming weeks imo:

The Saturdays - Missing You (interested to see where it peaks).

Alexandra Burke - Don't Let Me Start Without You (obviously want this to go to #1).

Shontelle - Impossible (it's looking to flop due to lack of airplay but is at #13 in America and is Shontelle's biggest US hit).

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream (don't know when it's released but the album will be out on 30/8 so the song will inevitably be cherry-picked).

Looking forward to seeing where all these chart but where are the videos for Alex and Shontelle, are they out.

Hope The Saturdays do well, it is a bland song not sure why they did not pick a stronger track but would rather see more pop in the Top 10 than indie, dance or urban music.

Same Difference have a video doing the rounds on the video channels they look very different-both cheesy and scary at the same time.

Shontele has a video you can see it on youtube, i aint seen it anywhere on music channels

alex aint got a video yet

If Swedish House Mafia doesn't make it to #9 before Flo Rida cracks the Top 10, then they'll be back at #11 in no time.

I damn well hope they climb to #9 before Flo gets top 10.

Flo is at #15 by the way.

I Need Air trance? You must be having a laugh surely.

It's not trance, you're right.

But it's got enough trance influence IMO to warrant it getting a more interesting description than 'pop', hence why I've said it's pop/trance.

If I was sticking to basic descriptions, INA is pop.

The Wanted, Travie McCoy, Magnetic Man, Swedish House Mafia and Flo-Rida all looking to enter inside the top 10.

I suspect Usher and Jason Derulo may fall short this week and climb into the 11-15 region of this Sundays chart. Then they might possibly climb into the top 10 next week?

Do use think these new entries will knock diana off the top 40? shes 32 and 90

Flo Rida #14, and on course to crack the Top 10 before the Swedes get to #9.

Swedes should start moving a bit quicker with the top 10 effect surely? I can see Mark Ronson being overtaken by both of them in quick succession. Flo will overtake the Swedes very soon though anyway.

Unless I'm mistaken, Magnetic Man look like going no higher than #8 (for now anyway).

Thanks just watched Shontelle's video. What a beautiful song hope she does well but ballads are a hard sell these days.Plan B now has no chance of going Top 10 now.

Magnetic Man are extremely close to #6, very tight there.

IKEAMafia are starting to close in on Mark Ronson.

I don't watch the music channels but Shontelle has got a video of 'Impossible' on youtube:

I like the song but the video is like a 'Rihanna - Unfaithful' clone i.e the protagonist infatuated with a musician (pianist/producer).
