July 16, 200619 yr Virgin.Net Music news Kylie pens cancer fight tracks INTERVIEW SPOILER: Kylie Minogue has revealed she has written songs about her cancer battle for her new album. The singer is still undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with breast cancer last year - but says the ordeal has changed her outlook on life and has inspired her songwriting. She told Sky One: "Of course I've written lyrics about the last year, but it's not depressing. It's not, you know, woe is me, nothing like that. "But just in my way, I've said what I wanted to say. Whether those songs end up on the album or not, they may not, but it was great to do. All to a disco beat." Kylie was forced to cancel part of her 'Showgirl' tour when she was diagnosed last May and is now preparing to go back on the road - but admits she may struggle. She added: "I'm as prepared as I can be but I'm not sure that I'll be able to do everything that I did before - not that I do an enormous amount of jumping all over the stage but quick changes are really stressful. "There's a whole other world backstage that happens - six times throughout the show. So I said, 'You know what, maybe we won't have quick changes, we'll have slow changes. And maybe even a little chair'."

July 16, 200619 yr yes now thats good news,i didnt think she would and i know dannyboy will be delighted as he kind of predicted this, excellent interview and cat deeley ready did a good job,and it was a very personnel side of kylie we seen tonight,and its also a very new kylie, she did mention she wrote some tracks that had a big disco beat,could that be the big hint for what to expect of the new album i do wonder, i can see a new kylie single out just before that 1 week tour at wembley

July 17, 200619 yr I was surprised by how candid, honest & open Kylie was. Anybody who saw the interview cannot have failed to have been moved by the it. The interview would have done Cat Deeley's career no harm either as she did a surprisingly good job IMHO.
