I've chosen Crystal Castles, even though loads have said 2nd, because I think I prefer the cover for CC.

I can't keep up with the best, it seems everything I try its just not good enough, I can't seem to get top 3 lately, I'm going to give up after this round of 16. I'm just running out of ideas.

don't give up Mikey that's the worst thing you can do. Try using different software or something maybe?

TBH, the reason I don't take part anymore is because there isn't software good enough to do covers that would be able to fight for a good position, that is also free. Paint is rubbish, and I'm also limited with GIMP :( I have no idea how people like Russ & djcharly manage to create such masterpieces week after week :o

there is software that isn't free that you can get for free ;) but to get to Russ' or djcharly's standard time is needed.

There's quite a few trials for Adobe PhotoShop online - free for 30 days kind of things, which is the legal way to get this pricey programme - however, it's easy to download illegally, too... and there's loads of online tutorials to help you through - it's one of the easiest graphics programmes when you get used to it... and if anyone ever needs a hand with anything with PhotoShop, just message me, if I know how, I'll do my best to help
