With 13 rates, the results are quite ODD. Some pre-results TRIVIA: - There is a total of 51 tracks in the countdown. - The highest album track is #7 - The single ranked LOWEST is #36. - Each album has at least TWO tracks in the Top 10. - The Winner is something you probably don't expect. - I'm awesome. August 1, 201014 yr Author SO, starting off at ROCK BOTTOM. 51 / Willing to Wait 5.45 OK, so voted the worst Rihanna song is this forgotten track from her first album 'Music Of The SUn'. In all honesty I couldn't tell you anything about this song, in fact according to my iTunes I've played it once, when the album first came out. Truly forgettable. Deserving off this EMBARRASSING position. 50 / You Don't Love Me (No, No, No) 5.75 (less 7s) I've always despised this song. It's my least favourite Rihanna track ever and I find the sample infuriating. Thankfully everyone else seemed to agree with me and voted it the second worst, and also voting it the worst on her pretty $h!te debut 'Music Of The Sun' 49 / Selfish Girl 5.75(more 7s) First track to appear from 'A Girl Like Me', and like the WTW, it's just as crap and nobody remembers it. Forgotten and completely pointless. It squeezes past No No No because it did receive a few more SEVENS. Edited August 1, 201014 yr by Mikal
August 1, 201014 yr Quite surprising that nothing averaged less than 5. I guess she doesn't have anything TRULY terrible in her back catalogue (in Buzzjack's eyes). AIN'T NO CANDY SHOPS UP IN HURRRR.
August 1, 201014 yr Author 48 / Now I Know 5.82 Another forgettable ballad from pre-GGGB days. Although this is one of the better ones out of the $h!tty ballads. It's quite CUTE, but definitely an album track. A pretty poor one according to YOU LOT. 47 / Say It 6.19 By far the least favourite track from 'Good Girl Gone Bad'. Widely thought of as the only filler track from the multi-platinum album. I still wouldn't place it with the surrounding tracks, down HERE. But I guess compared to the more hard-hitting tracks on GGGB it was bound to slightly disliked. 46 / The Last Time 6.20 Is it just me who doesn't remember half of these songs?! This one in particular seems to have slipped my mind. Made quite an impression on ME clearly!
August 1, 201014 yr There are four fillers on GGGB surely? Say It, QE, Candy and Lemme. But Say It is the best of them. So bouncy and feel-good! Undeserved placing.
August 1, 201014 yr Author 45 / Crazy Little Thing Called Love 6.40 I always despised this song. Faux raggae sound with a really crap tune. Still, deserving of this position. 44 / A Girl like Me 6.41 Title track from 'A Girl Like Me' album. Naff little ballad. As you can tell I wasn't much of a FAN back then, I still looned for her though. ODD. STILL. She got GOOD so it's ok. 43 / G4L 6.42 Lowest placing of a 'Rated R' track on the rate. Never really got the hate for this, OK the lyrics are a cringey mess but the tune's still nice and after all, we ALL want to put our GUNS IN THE EYER at some point in our lives.
August 1, 201014 yr I quite like 'Lemme Get That'. :P I'm guessing most of 'MOFTS' and 'AGLM' are to come.
August 1, 201014 yr Never listen to G4L, I find it boring. My least fave on Rated R along with Stupid In Love.
August 1, 201014 yr Author I'm rushing through these as no one cares about these songs. 42 / Dem Haters 6.45 I remember when AGLM came out and I first heard this, I thought it was SOOO COOL. I was all 'RIRI SETTING HATAZ RITE!!z1' I now realise it's a pretty $h!te song, and again with the faux reggae $h!t she desperately tried to make popular. 41 / Here I Go Again 6.50 MORE REGGAE. f*** OFF. Nananananaaaaaa, this one is one of the better of the reggae messes. A bit dull and lifeless though. 40 / Rush 6.75 SMASHNG OUR WAY in to the Top 40 is this little [shock]UPTEMPO[/shock] from MOTS. This is the first song on the countdown I can actually say I LIKE THIS SONG. It's catchy and showed a small glimps of things to come. Synthy with a great melody. However I seem to be the only one who thinks this, hence it scraping Top 40. Edited August 1, 201014 yr by Mikal
August 1, 201014 yr Sell Me Candy is certainly NOT filler! Yes it is! It's so lightweight compared with most of the album. I like it though (OVERRATED BY MIKAL MIND YOU). G4L isn't the worst thing on Rated R but I never really WANT to listen to it so I guess that says a lot about it.
August 1, 201014 yr I love 'Sell Me Candy' :o my least favourite from GGGB would be urmm... its a difficult one i'd have to say Question Existing :(
August 1, 201014 yr Do people not understand what I mean by filler or something? :s A filler song can be perfectly enjoyable! I think GGGB has 4 fillers but there are none I don't enjoy or dislike.
August 1, 201014 yr Outraged at 'Now I Know's position, it is amazing. :( The only track I really love on MOTS. Clearly I'm the only one.
August 2, 201014 yr Author 39 / Lemme Get That 6.77 Second entry from the 'GGGB' era. Didn't have much of a tune and the way she 'spoke' throughout was obviously going to grind on people. It's probably one of the more forgettable tracks from the album. 38 / That La, La, La (less 10s) 6.90 I LOVE THIS SONG. Well, comparing to the rest of the parent album it was one of the better tracks! Still, quite a good score if you look at the average, I'm guessing its just because her material is so much stronger now which is why this charts so low. 37 / There's a Thug in My Life (more 10s) 6.90 Utterly cringeworthy title, the song itself I find a bit rubbish, 'how i'm I gonna tell my mama?!'... enough said really. 36 / Rockstar 101 6.96 The LOWEST charting single in the rate. Utterly appalling single choice. One of the most baffling single decisions her label have made with her. The song itself isn't THAT bad, but it's just SO lukewarm compared to its predecessor 'Rude Boy'. Which managed multiple weeks at #1 in the US, whereas this one failed to chart even with a prime time American Idol performance. 35 / P.S. (I'm Still Not Over You) 7.00 At 35 we have yet another forgettable ballad from 'A Girl Like Me'. This track seems to have split most people scoring different points all over the board. Some love, some hate and some just don't give a fuck.
August 2, 201014 yr Author 34 / Stupid In Love 7.08 Another entry from 'Rated R' here, this time in the form of a ballad. This song has horrendous lyrics, except for the name-dropping of Katy Perry. It's tune is nice though, but I just find the chorus to be a bit... :S 'I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid' any thesaurus in the world will tell you, they are the same thing. 33 / We Ride 7.12 Seen as her biggest flop single, despite doing marginally better than 'Rockstar 101'. Peaked at #17 in the UK and quickly fell without a trace. Still, a nice summer tune that deserved slightly better than it got. Ironically the reason it was 'picked' as the 3rd single from AGLM was due to its popularity on iTunes as an album track! 32 / Question Existing 7.23 Marmite defined in audio forum. You either love it or hate it. I love it. You lot, seemed to hate it! 31 / Photographs 7.27 This is an odd one, on most forums this is the most popular track from 'Rated R', excluding the singles. Here it's a completely different case where you've ranked it in the bottom 3 on that album. I think this track is actually OK, but it's very Cheryl Cole reject... which is never a good thing!
