This track is f***ing awesome, I bought In The Court Of The Crimson King on vinyl recently, of which this is the first track on Side 1, and it's put me back onto prog again.. I know it can be kind of wanky and pretentious (*cough*Yes, Rick Wakeman etc*cough*) and rivals idm/electronica in the chin-stroking stakes but at it's best, with Crimson probably being one of the most universally loved prog-rock bands, it can be really rewarding to listen to.

weird this should be on here now... I've just bought 'In The Court of the Crimson King' again after having it for years on vinyl. The Japanese mini LP CD replica issue is going for superb prices on eBay right now... and it's a stunning package, definitely worth owning (for a fiver no less)..... and an even better album..... nothing like some arthouse prog to get your head bobbing. Love it

I always meant to investigate this band when I heard them being mentioned in Mars Volta reviews.
