I'll admit, something in BJSC died a little for me in the early twenties of BJSC. I still enjoy the contest, but probably not to the same extent.

 

I would have loved to see something a little like......and people might not agree with this but...

 

Have it so the fake names stay until we have the final scoreboard.....and then go from last place to first place revealing which country sent what. It might mean you wouldn't be able to cheer on your song but I would mean it would be tense right to the end wondering which of the last two countries left to be revealed sent the winner.

 

Quite a nice idea but it would completely and utterly kill off any discussion in the results thread I think. A lot of the fun discussion is 'can't belive country X are flopping :o'. But this time around we've had hardly any odds done, no hype, no predictas etc... So to keep it anonymous right up until the end, the discussion would lack even more. And nobody's going to say 'wow I can't believe Song Y is doing so well' because nobody really paid any attention to what would smash and what would flop in the first place :lol:

Surely everyone would know based on how the votes went/the entrants themselves would know? :lol:
