I only just saw this Sparkle - delighted you are going  :yahoo:

To answer you question I am nor sure if he will sing that many - but if he does it will be in a BRITS-style medley with two or three sung in full (Shame will def be sung in full). I am sure he will get 20 minutes or more - although thinking about it now he might not sing Bodies seeing as the lyrics might not be appropriate for the event :( I hope he opens with a full version of LMEY and wakes everyone up just like he did at Live 8.

Glad Tom Jones has been added - finally another serious 'big name'. Shame there are no bands though - doubt most soldiers will be hugely into most of the girl groups - well their music anyway. :P

Thank you  I'm getting really excited about going, tickets arrived yesterday.

Really pleased about Tom Jones being there too, can't see it happening but wouldn't it be great if he did a duet with Robbie like he did all them years ago at the Brits.

Your comment about the girl groups, you are sooooooooooooooo right on that one

I'd love if Rob and Tom sung a duet together - seeing as it will be Rob's last solo performance for quite some time something really memorable and electrifying such as the follow up to the legendary Brits performance would be brilliant. Would love to hear them sing their duet of 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' live on stage - or a duet of 'It's Not Unusual' during Tom's set - Rob did a cracking cover of that in Slane. Doubt it will happen but you never know. There will prob big some sort of singalong at the end anyway - there always is at these events - generally a song by the headliner - so Angels perhaps?

Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow will perform together at the Help For Heroes charity concert in London next month.

Williams, who is due to headline the event, will perform his new duet with Barlow, entitled 'Shame'.

"It's great that people love 'Shame' so much and we can't wait to perform it live for the first time at the Help For Heroes show," Williams and Barlow said.

"We hope everyone supports Help for Heroes as much as possible - it's a great bill and we are thrilled to be a part of it"

'Shame' is taken from the singer's forthcoming 39-song greatest hits collection, 'In And Out Of Consciousness – The Greatest Hits 1990 – 2010'.

The Help For Heroes concert at Twickenham stadium on September 12 will also feature Alexandra Burke and Plan B.

Other acts on the bill include The Saturdays, Pixie Lott and James Blunt, while entertainers Bruce Forsyth, Jack Dee and Michael McIntyre will also appear.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards the Help For Heroes charity. Tickets are on sale now. For more details, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.

Is there not a big Elvis tribute concert in London on Sunday? I thought I heard on the wireless that Tom Jones was performing at that one?

Oh Scotty. I shouldn't laugh but I just spat out my cup of tea....

tut tut Jups :nono:

Tom Jones is definately headlining for the Elvis tribute concert, I just looked on his official web site

The Heroes concert starts at 5.30, gates open at 2.30pm, I guess he has time to jump on a bus from Twickenham

to Hyde Park to do both gigs :P

Is this concert on the telly? Just highlights or what?

I just got 4 seated tickets on Ticketmaster. Well, I didn't really. But I could have done.

Thought it would have been sold out by now. If it isn't they should let some Forces people in for free. -_-

Tom Jones is defiantly performing - he has been quoted and everything. Plus it's on Rob's OS which as we all know is the home of factual info. :D

Rob apparently said in an interview he will be doing 5 songs. As long as (Shame aside) the rest of Rob songs and not TT songs I will be happy. This will be the last big solo gig Rob does for a long time so I want no duets of BFG with Gaz

Tickets are nearly sold out according to an article I read the other day - pretty expensive tbh. Not for here in Ireland but for the UK.

I don't think ticket prices for this concert are expensive, I would say average priced tbh to

some concerts I've attended. With the exception of U2 tickets and Madonna (I won't even go

there on what she charges :arrr: ).

 I'm wondering if it will be just mostly highlights of the gig as it starts at 5.30 and it's not

showing on the tv until 8pm - 10pm.

They had better show all of Robbies songs on the tv!

Indeed. I'm not sitting through hours of that twaddle for a solitary Robbie song -_-

And they better show Enrique too :D

  yep, that's the one, couldn't think of her name

:arrr: I clicked on ticketmaster tonight, didn't buy any of course, cos I got some.........

they were in a better row than the ones I already got, how annoying!

I hate when that happens. It's happened to me loads :arrr:

You buy 'Best available' 1 second after the sale opens and get seats in Block Z Row 563.

Then go in for a nosey 10 months later and get offered seats right in the centre block

Yep, and the one time you decide not to buy tickets straight away, they sell out in 30 mins or so!

very annoying

Is there a running order available yet?
