September 10, 201014 yr Not seen any  Nothing on here: http://www.heroesconcert.com/index.html
September 11, 201014 yr so...................... today, I'm trying to stay calm with the thought of seeing Robbie tomorrow :smoke: but now it's failed and I'm dead excited :w00t: :yahoo: :w00t: :yahoo: :w00t:  :yahoo: :w00t: :yahoo:  :w00t: :yahoo: looky look :yahoo: http://view.picapp.com/pictures.photo/edit...liams&uid=0 Edited September 11, 201014 yr by Sparkle
September 11, 201014 yr He rehearses? Good Lord! :o :D Anyway, here's the running order for tomorrow's concert according to The Sun line-up HERE are the show's stars in order of appearance: Alesha Dixon, Bruce Forsyth, Tom Jones, Jason Manford, The Saturdays, Kevin Bridges, Plan B, Jack Dee, Pixie Lott, James Blunt, John Bishop, Alexandra Burke, Debra Stephenson, The Wanted, Rhod Gilbert, Katherine Jenkins with Spelbound, Michael McIntyre, Enrique Iglesias, Peter Kay, Robbie Williams.
September 11, 201014 yr Looking forward to Rhod Gilbert ... can't stand Michael McIntyre though (I must be the only one who just doesn't find him funny - but I can't help it - I can't go with the hype - he's sh/te!) Also mildly looking forward to Rob & Gary ... to see if they perform this very average song well. Kath
September 12, 201014 yr Watching now on BBC whilst browsing the Buzzz at the same time. Just waiting for Robbie to arrive innit. Just saw a short backstage interview with him. I really hope amiga Sparkle is able to make that phonecall to me when Robbie is on stage, that way i'm there a bit aswell
September 12, 201014 yr His Let Me Entertain You was well done (backing vocals excellent) but he is making an absolute piece of dog-sh/te out of Lou Reed's WOTWS! Kath
September 12, 201014 yr YAY YAY YAY !!! What a blast to hear FEEL and ANGELS through the phone  Funny aswell that I heard each line on the phone first and like 5 seconds after on the telly  Loved every minute of it, great to see him back on a huge stage again.
September 12, 201014 yr I really enjoyed it I have to say. I was delighted to see a vintage Robbie performance in a huge venue with him performing in a very energetic manner. LOVED LMEY  I have to say though his voice was strained due to him running around so much for the firs time live in years - he didnt even perform like that at the BRITS - and it shows these days. Back in the days of his touring constantly he could run around for 2 hours and still sound very like he does on the CD's but that is not the case anymore. If he stood still or at least didnt run around like for example at the Proms he wouldnt have to worry about it but for a big gig like this - this sort of performance was exactly what was needed and I am delighted he chose to perform this way and not tone things down like he has been doing. Even though I adore it 'Come Undone' prob shouldve been replaced by Millenium or Rock DJ as it is more of a fans fave and not one of the 'big' songs to the general public. Not sure Rob recognizes the difference though :P Strained voice aside it was fantastic to see the Robster back performing in a huge venue again and working the crowd. :cheer: :cheer: Oh and the performance of 'Shame' was ok I suppose - wasnt as cheesy as I had feared. I was actually surprised Rob sounded well singing it after running around for the previous 10 minutes - I'll look forward to seeing it sung in a smaller venue as it aint exactly a stadium anthem is it? I wonder when the next performance of it will be? First X Factor live show I suppose? Not much else to promote on really these days
September 13, 201014 yr I had an absolutely brilliant time yesterday, Robbie rocked! really enjoyed his performance and was great to see him live again  I was so happy he started with LMEY and went on to sing some of my fav songs. I knew he was going to get a good reception from the start, every time his name was mentioned in between the other acts, the place went mental and it was a really great atmosphere, buzzing. We saw his backstage chat too on the big screen before he came on. He was where he belongs, in huge venues like stadiums. I didn't think much of Twickenham stadium tbh though, I think it may of been where our seats were but the sound really wasn't good at times for some of the acts, sounded better on the tv  Very glad my phone calls got through considering the poor signal, trying to take a photo of Robbie and bounce at the same time, very difficult to do. oh and how yummy is Enrique  Lots of pics of last nigh here: http://www.heart.co.uk/music/heroes-concer...roes-concert-92
September 15, 201014 yr I'm not sure what to say about his performance. I enjoyed it. And yet.... I'll post back later when I've thought what I want to say.
September 15, 201014 yr As a side issue. Did anyone else think it was a serious missed opportunity not to have a donation line phone number ticker tape along the bottom of the TV screen during this concert? They'd have raised an absolute fortune for the injured soldiers.
September 15, 201014 yr I really don't get it tbh, don't understand everyones negative responses to how he was. I've read a few posts on other sites, some are good, some are really quite nasty. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but in my opinion he was brill. Perhaps I need to watch the performance a few more times on the tv. Maybe you just had to be there, I dunno. He sounded no different to how he did when I saw him live in 2006. I thought he was great, so much energy and the only one that could make the audience go absolutely mental on the night, although Enrique came very close  When Peter Kay was on announcing Robbie, the noise from the crowd was deafening and I didn't hear a word of what he said, alls I saw was Robbie just appearing from no where  Nobody else got a reception like that on the day/night
September 15, 201014 yr I dunno. I did enjoy it. And he had tons of energy bouncing around the stage. And his voice sounded ok to me. But I thought it was all very Robbie by numbers. I understand why he chose to do his big hits and that's fine. But I just wish he'd vary things a bit. I find I'm now able to tell exactly when he's going to say 'One Hand In the Air. Two Hands in the Air. Now Bounce Y'All. Bounce'. For the first time ever during a Robbie performance on telly I found my mind wandering midway through. Maybe that's just how I'm feeling at the moment though. But you're probably right. If I'd been there I'd have had my one hand in the air, 2 hands in the air, bouncy.
September 16, 201014 yr Author I have not seen it yet , however I notice since Robbie came back last year that some Robbie fans analyise his performances in every itty bitty detail & more often than not will find something wrong with what he does. I am not keen on the song Shame but I am accused of not liking it just because Gary Barlow is involved, how stupid & narrow minded is that , if the song is good I have no problem is saying so ...people get far too emotional about the whole thing imo I am very upset at the minute over my Georgie going to prison ( how are you coping Sparkle :( ) I think the judge ran out of patience & rightly so.,,,,did George think it could never happen to him ...silly man !!! he needs to get his life sorted B) I wonder if we could go & vist him in prison...I must look up the Ryanair flights...anyone know the nearest airport  Edited September 16, 201014 yr by Cleo

He's in a category B prison  and probably won't be moved, that really isn't good, there will be all sorts in there. Back to Robbie, I still quite like Shame, it's catchy, and I was singing along to it at Twickers, will I buy the single, probably not

September 17, 201014 yr Category B, is that bad :o ....anyway he only got 8 weeks so I am sure he will be well minded <_< Shame is OK , they sang it well live but does not grab my attention...I hear that Heart & I is supposed to be nice Heart and I sounds much, much better. Believe me ... I still think Shame is pants ... even given Gary Barlow's involvement. I think both of them should sort of hang their heads in shame at this mediocre offering (given how it had been 'bigged up' by everyone ... including Mssrs Barlow and Williams). Can I just say ... although I was tutting at Rob forgetting his lines and generally being a bit 'vague' I CAN understand that this is part of the charm for Rob fans. It is quite sweet when he acts like the lost buffoon ... and his fans feel ever so protective of him and help him out. There is something about human nature that makes us want to help others out. However ... this 'vagueness' of Rob's just won't work as part of a group and I do think that both acts should remain separate. I'm hoping that Rob will see the light (and given that his performance in front of 60K went down great with his fans willl have boosted his confidence) and he will back out of any live concerts with TT. This is the only logical place that I can get over what I mean and be sort of 'understood'. Kath

Kath Are you nervous that he might ' wander off ' during a Take That performance Kathyp  , I think they are going to have a job keeping him under control tbh  , should make for very interesting viewing  Anyway listening to Robbie recently it seems he clearly understands that Captain Barlow is in charge so I am sure it will all be fine  , ...maybe a small bit like a kindergarden with a wayward child ....or a shepard with a lost sheep that keeps disappearing off over the hill & had to be rounded up  I agree about the charm effect of Robbie where he gets most things right but not quite everything , who else could manage to forget their lines in front of 60,000 people & still keep the attention of the crowd !!! you just cannot help watching him even if he does bags it up at times  I have heard a snippet of Heart & I & I like what I hear, pity that was not the lead single on GH2 , then again they picked YKM as a single on RKTVS so I should not be surprised that they went for the boring option !!! This ' bigging up ' as you call it before releases bothers me to be honest , sometimes the end result is not always what you imagined it to be <_< I doubt very much that Robbie will back out of any live concerts with Take That especially if he is contracted to do them, it would do him no favours at all in the eyes of the public & anyway tbf he seems to be enjoying his time with Gary Barlow these days so I would think he cannot wait to get back on stage with the rest of the guys, he has been doing it solo for so long maybe he has got tired of it & this is just another option , at least he has got the opportunity to write some more new songs if what we hear about the new Take That album is to be believed, I think recently he had run out of ideas for his songs so maybe this will give him some more inspiration..Robbie was always very good at writing about his true feelings so this is a good opportunity for him to do so again like he did in his ealier albums ....just my opinion of course <_< Come Undone was the performance of the night for me along with Angels dBMsxp7nrqc f05OMtlNVzk Edited September 17, 201014 yr by Cleo

I know Rob fans hate 'routines' and dancing in general ... but (for those going to the concerts) they're just going to have to get used to it. I must say ... I'm having a bit of a giggle thinking how Pray will look with the five of them. It is cute but a bit absurd with four of them ... but with five!!! Mind you ... Jason cocked up that one on the BW tour and ended up in a fit of giggles himself. Kath
